He stood at the threshold of the next room, ready to step inside the unknown, when a moment of doubt washed over him, causing him to pause. Glancing around, he noticed a group of people arriving and milling about just a few feet away. Their energetic chatter and hurried footsteps seemed to fill the air with urgency. After they had settled in for a brief period, he saw them start to change direction, their focus shifting towards the task at hand. Observing this scene unfold, he decided it was time for him to enter the adjacent room.
Pushing the door open, he stepped into a dimly lit computer lab. The atmosphere was thick with tension, lit only by the flickering screens that cast an eerie glow on the walls. Data streamed across the monitors, displaying a chaotic mix of information that reflected the high stakes of the situation.
