-But it was the sight of my family's lifeless bodies, lying motionless on the ground, that sent me into a downward spiral of despair. Mom, Dad all gone. The thought was too much to bear, and I felt my knees buckle beneath me. -

-I fell to the ground, my body wracked with sobs. I couldn't catch my breath, couldn't think straight. All I could do was weep, my heart shattered into a million pieces.-

-As I cried, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see a firefighter, his face blackened with soot, holding out a small, charred chain.-

- I rocked back and forth, the chain pressed against my lips, as I mourned the loss of my family, my home, and the life I once knew. The flames crackled and spat, a cruel reminder of what I had lost. But At that moment, all I could think about was Xavier, and the love we shared. -
