Chapter -5 (Secret Hideout)

We reached our hideout in the forest. A beautiful tree house that we built on our own. We went up with the help of rope stairs. After we entered, Damir covered my eyes and on the count of 1,2,3 Kenzo turned on the lights while Damir removed his hands from my eyes. I opened my eyes and was shocked to see the scenery in front of me, the whole inside the tree house was decorated with fairy lights and on the table there was a beautiful fox doll which was very delicately designed as it had a lot of detailing and looking closely I realized it was made based on me as it also had a mole under its right eye and the eye shape was also made to match my almond shaped eyes.I opened the box placed along with it,, and it had a very delicate diamond bracelet with my initials." This is your birthday gift form Mr.Kenzo Ashford" Damir said pointing gleefully at Kenzo. I smiled happily and said "Thank you so much, Ken, it's beautiful.I loved it"." It's nothing, and the surprise hasn't ended yet "after saying this he led us outside.

As if checking something on his watch he said "it's time, look ahead ".I looked and was mesmerized with view instantly the whole forest was glowing because of lighting, it looked like a heaven." The lights were lit exactly at 11:59 to indicate a beautiful goodbye to your teenage and welcome your new life as a adult. This was a well thought plan formulated by Ken. You don't know how much we worked to get all this done. Although, I did help, but Ken did most of the labor of planing this surprise " Damir explained acting like Kenzo's attorney. I excited jumped and hugged Kenzo "Thank you sooo much Ken, It's the most beautiful surprise I received. It must have taken a lot of time to prepare." and Kenzo hugged me too saying "Worth it"." He meant to say that it was worth it to go to such lengths for you "Damir said fulfilling his duties as Kenzo's attorney.

Few seconds passed as we both hugged, time seemed to have stopped, I wish I could pause my life at this moment when I'm the happiest." Guys, I am here too" Damir whined, and I opened my hands to invite him in our group hug."I am the luckiest person to have you guys as my friends" I said getting emotional, "We're luckier" Kenzo and Damir said at the same time. And interestingly enough at this moment the thoughts of Kenzo and Damir, these two polar opposite people matched so well.

After our group hug we went down in the forest to better enjoy the view. After that the butler in the farmhouse arranged a simple meal and some sweets for us." Miss, Eastwood, Master Ken and Master Mir, Please enjoy your meal and call me if you need anything.

The table was beautiful decorated by the servants with wildflowers found in forest. We had some light wine to enjoy with our food." This is my happiest birthday, Thank you guys" I commented and Damir being Damir" It's our pleasure to make the most gorgeous lady happy" and elbowed Kenzo to say few words too "It's okay, we are friends ". Hearing Kenzo's words Damir let out a dramatic sigh, he puts his hand on Kenzo's shoulder and said "If you keep being like this you will never manage to impress your dream girl. I will be gracious from now on and teach you how to talk to a lady.". Kenzo replied with some arrogance "No need, Keep your lessons to yourself, I don't need it". Just as Damir was about to criticize his thinking, he stared at his face for few minutes before saying "True, You have a lethal face card, I don't think there exists a girl who will reject you after seeing your face. Sigh, not only that they might not even have a problem with your lousy communication skills for the sake of your godly appearance ".

Well, what Damir said was true Kenzo has perfect puppy face with sharp eyes and chiseled jawline which is enough to seduce anyone in this world. He has a beautiful smile when he smiles it makes people feel like spring where flowers are blooming everywhere. If it weren't for the fact that his personality is some faulty making it difficult for people to approach him, and he doesn't smile often in front of outsiders, all the ladies in the city might have already been seduced by him.

Damir took a bite of his cake and then stared at me for a split second.I was confused about his look and drank some water, Damir's next words caused me to cough out all the water, he said carelessly shaking his said " If you and Ken were to have kids, how God defying beauty will they possess ". Kenzo patted my back to ease the coughs while he glared at Damir. Damir shrugged and said "Well I was just saying, no need to take it seriously".

After our dinner we decided to go back to our home.As we drank some wine earlier the butler called a driver for us.We sat in the car, I sat in the middle while Kenzo and Damir were on my either sides. On the Damir got sleepy and rested his head on my shoulder while I rested mine on Kenzo's shoulder.

We arrived very quickly, Kenzo ruthlessly shook Damir to wake him up and said "Go back home and sleep, you sleepy head".Damir whined before getting off and going, soon we reached our homes to Kenzo said "Lyn, We reached ,get off and go inside". I said sleep talking "Take me inside, I don't have strength left to even lift a finger". I heard Kenzo sighed and then he gave me a piggy back rice to my home.Then we parted our ways.I went back to my home and caressed the bracelet given by Kenzo.It was a delicate diamond bracelet with my Initials "E" from Emberlyn and "E" from Eastwood both with different calligraphy were hanging. I closed my eyes and prayed to God that my loved ones should remain happy and healthy.At that I didn't know what he'll was gonna break on to me in the upcoming movie as in the silence of somebody was instructing someone " Remember, Everyone should be dead , don't make a mistake only then I can be powerful enough to control Eastwood Industries and Ashford's business". That somebody cut the call and said "How sad!! I thought I could play a little more with my favourite pawn"
