SHE'S IGNORING ME

After receiving a slap from Cynthia, Amélia stood on her steps dumbfounded and unable to say a word at the warnings of the jealouse ex girl friend. She was practically attacked by Cynthia who was probably a witness of her kiss with Aiden.

Having a swollen face she had to go back home and place a pack of ice on it with the help of her friend.

"Amé, I'm so pissed off by that girl, look at what she did to your face." , Leila complained while helping Amélia to apply an ointment on her swollen jaw.

"It's fine Leila, I should have known that I'll be the guilty victim of a jealouse girl friend."

"You mean ex girl friend."

"Whatever, what does it really change?"

"It changes everything, Amélia you can't just let her trample you down just like that."

"You know that I can't attack back. Since the moment I set foot in this school, I was bound not to cause any trouble that would get to my uncle and aunty's hearing.

" But Amélia..."

"Let it drop Leila, you know my mother's life and my future depends on it."

Amélia immediately lay back on her bed, turning away her back from Leila, she grabbed her white Teddy bear and held it tight against her body. Each time she was sad she would always hold it and she felt the relief comfort of her father and the comforting words of her mother.

Leila didn't like to see her friend in pains or hurt and she would probably had punched anyone who hurt her dear friend, yet she had to obey her request.

The next morning at the Escadri villa, Aiden just left his room and passed by the dinning hall where he met his father having his break fast all by himself.

His relationship with his father wasn't the most pleasing one because he always blamed his father cheating on his mother with a girl far younger than him and his mother; something that was also the cause of his mother's death. He didn't personally love to stay by his father's side, but for the fact that the villa and the company his father was working on belonged to his mother, Aiden would rather not live it to his father and his other mistresses.

"Aiden, won't you greet your father?", Mr. Dan said.

" What would it actually change? Do you still care that you have a son? "

"Are you really never going to forgive me for my past mistakes?"

"Why do you care so much about it?"

"Of course I care, because you're my son, my only son."

"You should have thought of that before cheating on mum with a woman far younger than her."

"..."

Dan couldn't dissagree that what his son actually said was true and no matter how he tried to atone for his crime, it wouldn't change anything, because Helen his wife was already death.

"Won't you at least take your breakfast before you go to school?" ,Dan demanded, but he knew that his son wouldn't listen to him, yet he wanted to go to try his luck.

"I would never be able to bring back your mother to life you know."

Of course he would never be able to bring her back, but he should have thought twice before cheating on his mother. It would have even been better if he never married her if he didn't love her in the first place. Enraged by his father, Aiden walked out without uttering a single word. His father wasn't faithful when his mother was alive, so he doesn't expect a lot from him now. There were times when he thought of leaving that house but, for his mother's sake he'll rather endure everything. He has fifty percent of his mother's inherritance, while his father had the other fifty percent at hand.

Aiden was determined to get everything from his father, because he believed his father only married his mother for her wealth and that's what hurt him the most in this life. His mother had to die without experiencing the feeling of being truely loved by someone.

Aiden got in his car and the driver drove him to school. The sky was maybe bright, but his life wasn't as bright as what it seems. He had everything, yet he was still lonely and sad deep inside. He smiled with everyone, but hidden behind that smile was his pain.

Aiden was driving towards school when he saw Amélia from a distance, she was sorrounded by three bad guys and a little girl stood behind.

"What's she doing?"

Aiden panicked when he saw that the bad guys could hurt her and thought of going to the rescue of the damsel, but it wasn't necessary. She made use of her fighting skills and hit the probably bandits and they ended up running away like cowards.

"Now I see her wild side, impressive.", Aiden said and got up off the car, asking the driver to wait for him.

"Thank you big sis.", The little girl saved by Amélia said and she squat down to her level and ruffled the little girl's head.

" It's fine, you just need to be more careful next time."

"Yes big sis."

~Clap Clap Clap.

Amélia stiffened the moment she heard clapping behind her back. She almost thought that the kidnappers came back.

"I'm impressed Amélia Ametiste."

Of course, she didn't even need to turn back to know that it was Aiden. She couldn't tell how long he had been observing her, but it seemed he had actually watched her fighting with those men.

"Come with me little girl, I'll take you to school by myself." , Amélia said ignoring Aiden's presence.

"My car isn't far, let me drop you guys."

"No thanks, we'll manage."

"You..."

Amélia ignored him once again and walked away with the little girl who looked happy to be escorted to school by one whom she now considered as her elder sister.

"This damn girl, why does she always like playing with me, it seems I still need to get her punished."

Aiden said to himself and pissed off that Amélia ignored him once again. Back in school he tried to get her talk to him but she avoided him each time and always walked away from him.

Once in school, in order to punish her, he declared to the fan girls behind his back that Amélia was his girl friend, the moment she walked out of his side. He thought that she'll stay, but she didn't even look at him and quickly walk away from the public. He had no intention of declaring their relationship but because she kept avoiding and ignoring him, he finally decided to take actions.

"Amélia Ametiste stop there...Amélia Ametiste I told you to stop there!", Aiden tried to stop Amélia because he hated most being ignored and Amélia was doing just that.

He increased his speed and immediately caught her by the wrist.

" Amélia Ametiste are you trying to test my patience; Didn't you hear me calling ?" Aiden said once he caught up with Amélia. She was now trapped by him, yet she didn't turn to look at him.

"Amélia Ametiste I'm talking to you. So turn and face me! " , He requested or rather he ordered, but Amélia still didn't obey.

"I've told you to face me." , Aiden turned her to face him and his eyes widened the moment he saw that her left jaw was red and swollen as drops of tears could be seen in her apathetic blue eyes.

"You...who did this to you?"

"..."

"Speak, Amélia Ametiste !"
