Chapter 2 "Ruby palace"

Kang Siwoo, exclaimed with a nervous expression

“Your highness should also try this too!!”

The maid from before, joyfully changes his clothes according to her recommendations

(Why did it come to this...)

He thought as his inner self expresses slight avoidance to the idea

“Kya! I just can't decide, your highness looks too cute in all of them!!”

(Two days have passed since I reincarnated in this world. I gathered the information that I could, but it's still insufficient. The maids who came to clean this room were quite chatty..)

(This energetic lady is Hannah, she is one of the few maids who are working in this mansion, she also acts as a nanny. This place is called the "Ruby palace", where I live in among with other people. The "Ruby palace" was originally the place where the emperor's concubines had lived, in short, the emperor's harem..)

A woman with brown hair and sky blue eyes enter the room

“Please don't trouble the prince and princess too much, get plenty of rest for now, I'll take care of them”

This woman is lady Lillian (-Lily for short)

(If I remember correctly, she is our actual nanny but because of the tasks of the head maid, I speculate that Anne must be looking after us for some time to assist Lily)

“You're always working so hard lady Lillian, you might pass out at this rate”

Anne spoke in worry of her well-being, clearly concerned

“Thank you Hannah, but you don't have to worry about me. Please go help out the others if you can”

Lily reassured her and convinced her to complete her tasks.

“Alright..”

Anne complied and went out of the room

-door closes

“Good morning your highness, prince Atheus” (My name.. Atheus)

“.. -and princess Athanasia”

(And my sister, Athanasia)

The head maid had a gentle smile and gazed affectionately towards the two infants

(...The names seem somewhat familiar yet I can't have a complete grasp over it, if only I had more information)

He was thinking hard about it, racking up his brain for any thing he might've missed

(..Compiling the information I've gathered, I'm sure that this world is indeed from a different period of time... Athanasia...)

He contemplated and his attention was focused on his the name Athanasia,uncommon, familiar and grand

(I realize now.. this world is not the past, this is the novel "Lovely Princess"...)

He felt relieved but slightly anxious

(But a character named 'Atheus' was never mentioned in the original work so how could I possibly exist? But.. what scares me more is the emperor that I haven't met)

He internally sighs thinking it best to not dwell on it any further to avoid confusion

(I don't have to bother with this, after all, I just have to focus on what's in front of me)

He shifts his gaze towards Lily who was carrying Athanasia. The scene looked like something straight out of picturesque painting, the atmosphere expressed as calm and bright

The scene is cut short as we timeskip

“Nanny, nanny. Athy wants chocolate.”

Hannah was blinded by the cuteness that unfolded before her

“My sweet princess, you'd like some chocolate?”

“Yeah! Athy loves chocolate, Athy wants a lot!”

The nanny was fawning over Athy's cuteness

“A-athy! we shouldn't eat sweets without Lily's permission. She said that our teeth will rot!”

The boy was running over to them and was speaking a bit nervously
