Chapter 5
After Ayumi reluctantly showed Sora around the school as her fiance told her to, they arrived at the female dorms of the academy. "Get in." Ayumi commanded. They both headed inside.
The inside of the dorm was simple. One bed on each side, two desks, and two closets. On the left side was the door for the bathroom. "Your bed's on the right." "Oh, okay." Sora sat down. Ayumi stared at him. "Hm?" Sora smiled. "You're stupid." "Huh?" Ayumi sighed and ran a hand through her hair before sitting down at her desk and crossing her legs. "Come here." Sora walked over to her. "Yes?" "Kneel." Sora kneeled. "Uh, sure?"
"I don't care if you're from another world, if you refuse to obey me, and if you treat me as if you're on the same level as me, I'll make you regret it." Ayumi looked at him, her voice filled with absolute hatred for Sora. "..." Sora was unfazed. He was bigger than her so looking at her was like looking at an angry cat who thinks they're the boss. "But I want to be friends with you." Sora said. "Huh?" She looked at him in disgust. "Why in the world will I be friends with someone like you?"
Sora had a plan. To become the villainess' friend and prevent her from harassing Chiharu and getting killed in the story. Her actions towards Chiharu weren't nice, but Sora still didn't want her to die. But how was he going to make her his friend? "!" Then an idea came to mind. "You love your fiance, don't you?" "Without a doubt." Ayumi said immediately. "Then I'll help you and your fiance get together. In exchange, let's be friends." Ayumi paused. She thought for a few moments. "Acquaintances." "Alright." Sora smiled. Then he offered his hand to him. "let's be acquaintances." Ayumi scowled and didn't touch his hand. "I'm not touching you." "Okay." Sora grinned happily. "You're really weird."
A few days later...
"Get me coffee!" "Carry my bag!" "Find this book for me in the school's library!" A few days had passed since Sora had transported to this dating sim. And for the past few days, Ayumi had been bossing him around as if he was her slave. "I finally found the book you wanted!" Sora said. Ayumi didn't thank him. "Give it to me." Sora handed the book. "I don't want you here while I'm reading. Get out."
Sora walked around the school's garden all alone. Chiharu and the love targets were at a vacation house. And no one wanted to be his friend because he was acquaintances with the villainess. Sora sighed. "So tired..." He sat down at a nearby bench and fell asleep. And while he was asleep the clouds formed in the sky and, PSSSHHHH! It rained heavily. But Sora, after studying without sleeping for the past few days so he could catch up in his academics, was so tired that he didn't wake up.
Chapter 6
"Hey, wake up." Sora slowly woke up from someone kicking him with their shoe. He looked at the figure. It was Ayumi. "Ayu... mi...?" "Since when did I say you could call me by my first name?" She glared. Sora sat up. "Wasn't I outside?" He looked around. He was back in his dorm. "Did you bring me here?" "Ew, I rather not touch someone like you." "Then who-" Then as Sora's sleepiness faded away he noticed Ayumi's shoes. "What happened to your shoes?" Ayumi's eyes widened before she looked at him pissed. "I said I didn't touch you. Don't make me repeat myself. Anyways," "Don't worry I'll clean them." Sora smiled. "..."
"Why are you like this?" "Hm?" Sora tilted his head. Ayumi walked closer to him and leaned close. "If you're sick then act like it." "Sick? I feel fine though." "Do you think I'm an idiot?" She tapped her forehead against his. "You're forehead's hot." She pulled back and flicked his forehead with her fingers.
"From now on when I sleep you sleep. No more doing anything. Is that clear?" "Okay." Sora said with a smile. "Sorry for worryi-" "When you lie you smile with your eyes closed." Sora's eyes widened. "I really feel-" "You're doing it again." Sora paused. Ayumi ran her hand through her hair and sighed. Then she grabbed his face and brought it close to hers. "Stop lying to me. Do you think the people who care about you would rather you suffer quietly instead of telling the truth? If you want to say something then say it. If you want to get mad and yell then do it. Don't overwork yourself. In the end, you'll lose your mind and would no longer be the same. And the people you care about will get hurt."
"So if they're going to get hurt anyways don't let it happen because they lost you. Hiding the truth won't be something you can do for a lifetime. All the things you've hidden will eventually be known. Now tell me the truth. How do you feel?" Sora looked into Ayumi's eyes. He felt like he couldn't defy her. "I..."
".... Don't want you to leave."
