Stalk City 22:30pm They began to head to where they saw life in the tunnels.They were rubbing their arms for warmth for It was chilly in the tunnels,rats were lingering about. They suddenly heard a distant sound of choppers in the sky from the tunnels and they halted. "Wait,...you hear that?",Lany said. "Of course...",Natly said.| "Oh shit,heyy!!! We're down here!!! Heyy!!",Aisha began to yell facing up. "Over here!!Heyy!!!Heyy!!",Natly yelled in turn waving their hands,but it seemed it was no use. "They won't hear us here,...damnit!!",Kaine exclaimed a bit. "Shit!!If only we were up there",Lany said. "Uhh,yeah,we would have become zombie food",Aisha said. "Yeah,yeah you're right,...we need to move on forward and head to wherever that is for now",Lany said. "Yeah,....",Kaine said. "Geez I'm starving",Aisha said. "Me too,I feel like I haven't eaten in a decade",Natly replied. They began to approached where they were headed.The sound of people's voices became clearer as they were getting near. They arrived and saw the tents and the others posted outside with their guns and their cloths masks on. "Hey!!You!!...",a girl saw them and approached them with her two other companions."On your knees all of you!",she insisted as they got down with their hands up. "What is your motive of being here?",the girl asked. "Uh,we,we were evading from the zombies and decided to come down here,we had no other choice,and nowhere else to evade,so we kept moving forward,we also noticed someone or something watching us from a distance",Kaine spoke. "That so?",she said,she peered a bit at their mouths,"open your mouths",she said as she started to browse their mouths with the tip of her BTP-9 gun. "I think they're not infected",one of her female red haired girl spoke low behind her. "That I see....but,what if they're here to steal our food and weaponry?",she replied. "I assure you that is not our intention at all,we just need help,and shelter,plus we're cold,we've been freezing while coming here,..please,help us",Lany spoke. "I don't think they're bad at all",another one of her's said. "Shut up...talk is cheap,...even if they're innocent...we can't risk it,we're in times of crisis",she said as she cocked and pointed her gun to them."I'm sorry,...no hard feelings",she said and was about to pull the trigger. "Michelle stop!",a woman yelled behind them and she looked back and made way.Her name was Lily,she was a blonde woman of early thirties. "But Lily,we can't-" "I know,but they need help,just like all of us,they're one of us,they're humans not zombies....that you have confirmed right?",Lily questioned. "Ugh confirmed",Michelle scoffed as she replied. "Good,...you can get up",Lily said and they all stood up. "Thank you",Lany said. "Come",she said and they followed."I apologize of one of my companion's atittude" "Oh no,you don't need to,we um,we understand the precautions",Kaine said. "Good,this is Michelle,she's one of my top guards",Lily introduced while they were walking among the tents as the people in there were coming out watching them. "This is Opreya and the other one is Hazella,sisters",she intoduced as they both looked back at them. "They really do look alike",Kaine Aisha spoke. "Oh okay,nice to meet you,I'm Lany,this is Kaine ,this is Aisha and here is Natly",Lany introduced. "Okay,its good to meet you all,...come in,let's talk",she said and they got into a large tent.

The West Side of the city

50 minutes earlier

The female zombie hastily woke up and grabbed the gun as Kira pulled the trigger and a bullet pierced through its head from the forehead to the back.It fell back with its mouth open. Kira's eyes were wide open and was panting a bit sharp.The man who made her shoot slowly grabbed the gun from her and was left frozen still looking at the dead zombie corpse.Gail rushed to her and hugged her and she hugged back. They suddenly heard another one screaming "Whoah,what was that?",he startled.They heard the screams again but this time they were many screams. "Is the door locked?",one of them asked."Is the fuckin door locked?!" "Iet-let me go and check",one of them rushed to the entrance where Jackson had headed. "I'm scared",Kira whispered to Gail while she was hugging her. "Shh,me too,me too",Gail said rubbing her back. The man rushed to the entrance to check if it was closed. "Jackson?!",he yelled,"Jackson!!" He then saw a person on his knees with his head down. "Jackson?",he peered a bit harder. "D-don't come any closer",Jackson said. "What do you mean,come on,everyone is freaking out",he said. "N-no,I can't",he said.The man then looked at the entrance and saw it was wide open. "Jackson?Who opened the entrance?",he asked.Jackson faced up,his face was bleeding and had his hand clasping his other shoulder which was bleeing from the bite wound. "Its that zombie that was lingering here,...it turns out they kind of have a sense of humor,..somewhat,..hehe",Jackson said as his head suddenly was bit off and his headless body fell down with its front. It was an enormous 9 foot tall fat zombie that had ate off his head. He widened his eyes looking at it all the way up.It then howled with an intense sound then he turned around and started to evade back screaming and yelling. The people heard him. "Who's that?",they asked and saw him appeared from one of the hallways. "Everybody run!!They're coming!!They're coming!!",he yelled evading from a numerous number of zombies tailing him.They had came through the open entrance. "What?",they saw behind him a number of zombies catching up to him as one of them grabbed his ankle and he fell with his front. Then the big one approached him and picked him up by his ankle and began to slam him down massively as he screamed and cried out in agony,his blood escaping from his head and body spilling all over the ground. Kira covered her mouth watching him screaming painfully turning flat.It kept on slamming him down until he was nothing but bones. It then faced them and screamed with a deep intense howl. "The exit is at the back of the mall go go go!",everyone started to evade to the exit with the zombies behind them. Kira was with Gail,they looked back and saw the others caught and being bitten.One of the zombies was catching up to the both of them,trying to reach them with its hand then,it jumped and reached Gail's ankle and Gail stopped. "Gail!!",Kira yelled as Gail hit its leg at its head with her stripping pole as it let go and they continued running. "Keep going we're almost there...",one of them said. Kira saw a green slime liquid poured onto a man beside her as he stopped and started to melt while he screamed painfully. "Its acid!Don't let that substance touch you!!",another said. It was the big one which was spitting the acid out of its mouth. "Everyone,take out all of your grenades!",he said and they did. "How many are they?" "U-Uhmm,te-ten,no twelve",he said counting then in the backpack.Gail was now running weak,and breathing a bit heavy. "K-Kira" "Gail,what is it?",Kira asked. "I got clawed" "What!!",Kira exclaimed. "I got clawed when that zombie grabbed me",she spoke low.Kira looked down at her wound,it was turning black. "Oh no",Kira assisted her with her hand over her."Come,we'll find a way to treat you alright?Please hang in there",Kira said. "As soon as we will get out we need to throw them at the entrance and make them explode before them get out,I'll try to shoot them before they get out. They kept running and they exited. "Kira...I'm sorry",Gail said. "What are you-",Kira said as Gail grabbed the bag that had the grenades from the man and started heading back to the zombies. "Gail!!Wait!!What are you-",Kira yelled back at Gail. "I love you!!",Gail yelled back then she reached the entrance and jumped against the large zombie. "Eat this bitch!!",she yelled as she stuffed the bag inside its mouth and it got in. It then bit her arm and its was cut off by its teeth and the rest of it was left in its mouth and she fell down then the zombies started to eat her apart viciously. "Its time for digestion",she said and its stomach growled and she smiled as the grenades exploded massively wiping a dozen of them including the large one and Gail and the others weighed down by the rocks of the crumbling mall as it started to collapse. "Gailllll!!!",Kira turned around and stopped as she yelled with her tears falling. "Come on come on,she's gone!",one of the women grabbed her by her waist and she fidgeted. "Don't touch me!!",she yelled and they all stopped looking back at her. "She's gone okay!!",the woman yelled. "I know!!!That's what you say to someone you don't know,...'she's gone' just like that!!",Kira exclaimed. "Look,I'm sorry,okay,I'm really sorry but right now we need to move,surely they're some of them who made it out of the exit and your friend delayed them to save us....now don't you let her sacrifice be in vain okay?",she said and Kira nodded while crying. "Come ,let's go",they continued running.Kira wept wiping her cheeks with her hands knowing that her friend Gail is no more.
