“These people will protect you.” Tyson told
Violet. “Where will you be?” Violet asked him. “I need to go back to the Black
Clover’s.” Tyson said. Violet looked away. She really would rather have stayed
there with him. “Your uncle’s here.” Tyson said to her. Violet looked at him, hopeful.
“My uncle?” she said. She couldn’t remember a single one of her family members
since she was kidnapped, and maybe her uncle would also explain her link to the
grimoire.
Except he hadn’t. Tyson had
given Violet’s uncle clear instructions not to tell Violet anything in case she
did something drastic. Tyson had helped Violet escape, and the Black Clover’s
didn’t want anyone else to use her, so they ordered him to kill her. Not having
the heart to kill her, Tyson brought Violet to the Amberstone’s. They’d made
sure nobody knew she was alive.
Violet stared out of the
aircraft window, watching the different clouds pass by. “You haven’t spoken in
a while. Is something the matter?” Caylen said. Violet grinned. She leaned on
Caylen’s seat. “Did you know?” she asked him. “About Tyson. Ofcourse I did. Why
do you think I broke up with you?” Caylen said. “Oh please don’t try to paint
yourself as the good guy in my eyes, I didn’t even know about Tyson before
then.” Violet hissed, transforming into a dangerous creature within seconds.
She wouldn’t hesitate if she had to kill Caylen right now. “Calm down, calm
down. I wouldn’t dare try to do anything of the sort! I understand. You hate
me. You will forever hate me. And there’s nothing I can do about it.” Caylen
said. Violet leaned back on her seat. “Good.” She said as she looked back out
her window.
“Ben hasn’t been doing so well
financially. You and I both know that. But I didn’t realise the asshole would
sell Violet to Caylen for money! And right now at this moment she is with
Caylen, hoping to see you again. Get her the **** out of there, you know where
my house is, and then we’ll carefully explain to her just how dangerous she
is.” Mark said. “First of all, you don’t make the rules. I do.” Tyson said
getting up. “Second of all we’re doing none of that. We, are first going to figure out what to do with her uncle, then
figure out to do with Caylen, then find a place to keep her safe.” Tyson said.
“And then tell her.” Mark added. “No. We’re never gonna tell her.” Tyson said.
Mark looked at him. “What? How do you expect for us to-?”Mark started. “If
we’re going to do this, we’re doing it my way. And I say we don’t tell her.”
Tyson cut in. “And I say-”Mark started. “Didn’t you once tell me you wanted to
be a hero?” Tyson interrupted. “Yes.” Mark said. “Then do this.” Tyson said.
“Just this one thing. Keeping it a secret. And you will be the greatest hero of
all time.” Tyson said. Mark stared at him. “What do you say?” Tyson said
hopefully. “I say you’re an asshole.’ Mark said and he walked out of the room,
leaving Tyson alone in the silence.
Tyson grinned. “Well that
wasn’t a no.” He said to the silence.
