The motel

Rahul was driving his car at night as usual. The darkness of the road slowly enveloped him. All the streetlights were broken, so there was a dull darkness on the road. The air was slightly cold, but he felt a certain sense of danger.

சில நிமிடங்களில், முன்பு அவன் வந்திருந்தது போலவே, ஒரு ஆண், ஒரு பெண் மற்றும் ஒரு குழந்தை சாலையில் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். குழந்தை சற்றே கதறியபடி அம்மாவின் சட்டையை பிடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தது.

**ராகுல்**: "யாருங்க நீங்க இந்த நேரத்துல ஒரு சின்ன குழந்தையை வெச்சிக்கிட்டு இருக்கீங்க?"

ராகுல் மோட்டலை நோக்கி காரை செலுத்தினான். சில நிமிடங்களில், அவன் காரை நிறுத்தும்போது...

**பெண்**: "நீங்க எப்போவும் இந்த சாலை வழியே வர்றீங்க. எங்கள்கிட்ட உதவி பண்ணுறீங்க... ஆனா எப்போதும் இதே மாதிரி தான் முடியும்."

இருட்டு மோட்டல் அறையில் இருந்த ஒளி மங்கியது. ராகுல் பின்பே செல்ல முயன்றான். ஆனால் அவனது கால்கள் ஒட்டிக்கொண்டது போல உணர்ந்தான்.

திடீரென்று அவன் கண்கள் இருட்டில் மூழ்கியது.
