**Chapter 2

It felt as though her soul left her body as she walked down the hallway..... She was going to meet elysh today and have a discussion with him . Her fear seemed very glaring as she entered the elevator going to the last floor of his place ; the elevator guy studiously keeping his eyes on the overhead numbers flashing on a digital screen as they indicated how they were going ..

His facial expression hard to determine as he minded his business and didn't ask any questions regarding where she was going but he knew it was gonna be one of the big shot in the building .

Rayne just stood aside as she predetermined what could happen with her going into the lion den herself this time . She felt as if she was making a mistake and when she made her mind of going back she met herself staring back at the man staring at her like he was surprised.

He hasn't really expected her to his house of all places but well he was determined to cross all boundaries today as he stared at her like she was a precious gem .

Rayne just stood there with different thoughts running through her mind ... Her feeling skeptical as she watched his gaze on her feeling quite ticklish since she rarely has someone making her feel numerous emotions at once .

The first time she met him was at the bar when she went partying with her friends ... At that time he came In and was following his friends as they chatted among themselves but as she looked up she saw someone staring at her with those deep amber eyes and she felt quite uncomfortable..her feeling told her to run away from such people which made she and her friends leave that day but she didn't know she was gonna be cornered by the same man she was running from.

The time he met her again was when she was about to leave her apartment that day .. she was about to go to her friend pose when he suddenly showed up bringing out the adrenaline feeling in her once again..

She was lost for words as she watched him squeezed himself into the house like it was made for him at the start . She couldn't talk as she was lost of words to say but she just knew she had to confront him no matter what ...

"What's all this. Do I know you ? " she had mustered up the courage of asking him that on that day but all she got was a sexual look as if his life depended on staring at her .

She fidled and opened her mouth to talk again but she was cut short as he had already claimed her mouth into a wld kiss .. all expression was written on her face as she was trapped in between the door of her apartment and him.

Her mind went blank for a while before she pushed him off her with the remaining strength she had left...her breath static as she watched him licking his lips like he had just had the sweetest candy ever. Before she could say anything he beat her to it and just turned the knob of the apartment not before saying

"See you later kitten " and then he went out of the house leaving the girl heart thumping fast in her chest like she's gonna burst soon.
