talk 2

After the death of his middle son, Mirza Ghulam Ali became more active in making his younger son return home . But not anyone can make him return - this he understood. So for years he had been looking for a suitable match for his son who would not only be Mrs. Mirza Aziz in name but also a worthy partner for the heir to this Mirza empire. At one stage of that search, he found Julekha by chance.

Hearing a knock on the door, Mirza Ghulam Ali looked and saw Aziz standing. He can sit in front of his father but his politeness and obedience is so much that he will not sit unless his father tells him to. He knows that the boy does not see him with good eyes and never directly disobeys him. That's why he married Julekha without knowing anything and now he will try hard to get rid of Julekha. Will not do anything directly but will create such a situation that Julekha herself will be forced to leave the house. This is his form of revenge. Even though he is grown up, he can understand everything just by looking into his son's eyes. He smiled and asked his son to sit down.

He couldn't remember the last time he saw a smile on his son's face. 'Sometimes I really want to hug my beloved son and tell him that for his sake the father had to be difficult'. But the boy does not talk to him except for work. Always acting as if their relationship is that of master and employee rather than father and son.

Sitting on the chair, Aziz directly said,

"I have always accepted all your decisions. Marriage was a big decision in life, I thought I would do it according to your wishes. So when he talked about marriage, I didn't want to know anything, not even the name of the person I was marrying. Then why did you destroy me?"

Mirza Ghulam Ali looked at his son with calm eyes and said,

"If you had trusted me and gotten married, then why is it difficult to accept?"

"Because I never in my wildest dreams thought that you would hang a zoo animal named Miss Julekha Khatun around my neck. Everything from her name to her face is just disgusting. No way is she fit for this family. In what way she's fit to be beside me?"

"You didn't have any choice. So why are you talking about whether it suits you or not? If you have married according to my choice, then also live with her according to my choice."

Aziz controlled his anger by tightening his fist. Now how to convince the father, how can he have a family with a girl whose cow-goat-poultry call plays as background music, whose head oil smells makes him vomit! How can you tolerate someone who can't be tolerated in front of your eyes?

Who knows what Baba* understood, looked at him steadily and said,

"I have given you six months to understand why I made Julekha your wife. If after six months you think my decision was wrong, then whatever you want will happen."

Aziz quickly looked his father in the eyes and said,

"After six months, my decision will be the same as today. I want to divorce this girl, I want it today, I will still want it after six months."

Father furrowed his eyebrows and said,

"Even if you want, you can't divorce her now. If you are married according to my words, then you must live with Julekha normally for six months. After that, if you don't change your mind, then I will make her a daughter instead of a daughter-in-law. That's my last word. You can go now."

That's actually always the same case. Every time Mirza Ghulam Ali tries to normalize his relationship with his son, somehow the relationship worsens. However, whatever is good for the child and the family, no matter how bad it may be, he will drop everything. Don't let this empire, built with so much pain and sacrifice, fall so easily.

Aziz heard his father's hard face and understood that there was no point in saying anything. Baba will be firm in his decision. His jaw tightened and his hands clenched in anger. He came out muttering. All the anger is falling on that stubborn-impolite girl. How and why did father made such an uncultured, such an uncivilized girl his wife, did not occur to him. He went straight to his room and sat down.

Since Zulekha came to this house, she used to stay in a guest room on the second floor on the north side. But Firoza Apa told her that father-in-law's order is from today onwards she has to stay in Aziz's room. A cloud of fear has been rumbling in her mind ever since she heard it. As simple as this Bilati Babu* is thought, he is actually just as tough. Although she kept her courage in front of him, Julekha's worries increased after hearing the words spoken at the dinner table. she quietly sat in the house where she had been staying temporarily for a few days. But Feroza Apa said seriously that she meant to go to Aziz's room. Julekha took a deep breath, then exhaled and thought, is that really her house? Or will it ever be her own house?

As soon as she entered Aziz's room with a troubled mind, her pulse turned upside down due to the strong smell. Even in3 the morning when she came to this room, there was no smell of rotting rats. She looked around the room holding the veil over her nose and saw Aziz staring at her with venomous eyes like a snake. He was holding a glass with some dark liquid in it. Julekha held her nose and said,

"Choto Mirza, in what happiness you are drinking juice in this room filled with rat rotting Smell?"

Aziz held the glass tighter in his hand and poured some liquid down his throat. Who knows what Julekha understood! She went out of the room quickly and came back with Feroza apa and said,

"Look, apa. The rat is dead and rotting in the house, the smell is unbearable."

Feroza Apa looked once at Julekha and once at Aziz's face and bowed her head,

"Boumoni*, there is no dead rat. If you feel bad, take some air freshener. The smell will go away."

Then he looked at Aziz and said with fear,

"Babusona*, Baumoni is a new person. she hasn't understood everything yet, why are you doing this in front of her? Give her some time to adapt."

Aziz knocked the glass in his hand and placed it on the glass table in front of him and said in a sharp voice,

"Why do I always have to accept everything? Why is my desire worth nothing? Know that this girl will be killed by me one-day."

Firozha took a look at Julekha with a tearful eye and whispered,

"Don't say anything now, Boumoni. Be quiet."

She did not delay. Hastily pulled the door and left.

Julekha stared at the closed door, then forgot Feroza Apa's warning and said to Aziz,

"Are you drinking alcohol?"

Aziz chewed, "No, Black Bengal Goat Owner. Not alcohol but am drinking rum."

Julekha widened her eyes and said,

"Shh shh. Alcohol is alcohol. Do you want to make wine holy and pure by naming Rama-Lakshman*?"

Oh what way to talk! Every word proves the stupidity of this girl. Out of anger, sadness and disgust at his father, at Julekha, at the whole world, he poured all the liquid from the glass down his throat at once. Throat burned with fierce snarl, but still the muscles of the mouth did not twitch a bit. Just closed my eyes for a few moments. Then he slowly came up and stood in front of Julekha who was holding the veil on her nose. Glancing, Julekha saw how Aziz's gaze was slowly changing, just like on the dining table in the morning. The only difference now is that the eyes are red like fire. As the victim becomes helpless before the snake's hypnotic gaze, this sight left Julekha bewildered, frightened and helpless.

Aziz hissed,

"My life was already burning in the fire of hell. You fueled that fire. Now watch, I will burn your life in hell. Welcome to hell, Miss Zulekha Khatun."
