Love Is... Not What I Thought
Love is...like a roller coaster.
The owner smiles and looks around. His bar has more clients today and everyone seems to have a good time. So he tells to his waiter that he feels so generous and he orders them to give a cup of coffee and and cookies for free to everyone.
Jade
No, thanks *Sips her coffee* I must moderate my sugar in blood.
She tries to erase the feeling that Benny's finger left on her, but the warmth of the cup doesn't help to completely erase the memory of his fingerprint on her lip.
Benny
Oh, you have diabetes? I didn't know that, sorry.
Jade
No, I don't diabetes. It's just I want to be healthy.
He watches her continue eating the cake. The way she cuts the cake with her fork, as thin as she can make it, puzzles him quite a bit.
Benny
So why is each piece you cut thinner than the last? It seems to me that you don't want your cake to run out soon.
Jade
*smiles with a blushs* Oh, I didn't notice that I'm doing that.
He sees her blush, and he remembers how she blushed when he touched her lips with his thumb minutes before. His heart beats crazy when he unconsciously places that thumb up his lower lip. So he quickly stops touching his lip and clear his throat to distract himself to don't do any hasty movement.
Benny
Or maybe you don't want to leave me so soon as you said, and you're just making time. *smiles*
Jade
*Blush* I-I don't want.I-I mean, I always take my time when I'm eating.
*Why is she blushing? She is so cute*
Benny
Are you sure? *smirks* Come on, don't be shy.
She stabs the fork into the rest of the cake and puts the whole thing in her mouth. When she finishes swallowing it, she drinks what's left in her cup.
Jade
And now, I'm leaving.
Benny is in shock at what she just did but quickly recovers.
Benny
No, no wait, don't leave! I was just joking and look! it's still raining hard outside.
Jade
I don't care. I'm leaving right now! *Frowns*
But before she could move her feet, lightning strikes nearby and the bar floor shakes and the rain falls harder than before.
Waiter
This is on the house! *Smiles and puts coffees and cookies on the table*
