Chapter 4: Adoption

each night, Bora and Nari always visit Dae and they become best Friends.

After 1 month a 8 years old boy named insu was adopted.

Bora was worried that she might get adopted too and she'll miss her friends.she saw insu walk away with his new family after breakfast.

There is no classes because it's new years day.A Rich couple was going to host a new years party for the orphans.

the orphans got dressed into their best clothes as they went downstairs to celebrate.

Bora and Nari went downstairs to see many beautiful decorations and many delicious food. they noticed that Dae was trying to get in but she can't, she's holding a basket and just came back from the market.

some visitors look at Dae and they showed a look of disdain.

the roasted pork arrived and it's inside a box,the guards went outside to take the box in.

Bora went outside to see Dae sitting on the snow beside the door, she took this opportunity to take Dae in and Nari helped Bora cover Dae as they went upstairs to Dae's room.

Bora heard footsteps so they pretend that nothing happened and miss T appeared.

"why the two of you aren't at the feast?"

"we just took a rest,miss T",Nari said.

miss T showed a look of suspicion before walking to the 3rd floor.

"I'm sorry to take the two of you into trouble"

"it's okay,Dae, nothing happened "

By 12:00 the fireworks landed at the sky creating a beautiful fireworks show.

it's so colorful and also loud.

Dae was watching the fireworks show by her window when Bora and Nari went in holding a bag full of food from the feast.

They enjoyed the small feast in Dae's room as they watch the fireworks and heard the music downstairs.

miss T was unable to check the rooms because she's having a lot of fun.

and by 1:00,the orphans went upstairs to went inside their rooms and sleep.

The next da on sunrise, Dae was cleaning the huge mess downstairs and Bora and Nari came downstairs to help Dae clean.

Dae refused them to clean at first but Bora and Nari still helped Dae.

2 months have passed since the new year's party, the rich family who hosted the party went to visit the orphanage and also adopt a child.

...They were told to go downstairs to greet the rich couple, the smiths,...

they got arranged into a line so that they can pick a child easily.

Bora was wishing she will not get picked,after the 23 other orphans, it's her turn.

"who are you?"Mrs Smith asked

"I'm Bora Anderson"

"introduce yourself"Mr Smith said

"I'm Bora Anderson,I'm 5 years old,I'm born in October 29"

"so what happened to you so you became an orphan?"Mrs Smith asked

"my parents died in a car crash "

after everyone introduced themselves:

"please don't pick me, please do not pick me"Bora keep saying in her mind.

"we'll pick Bora Anderson"

Bora's face drops.

"Bora,pack your things and leave tomorrow"miss T said

"no, we'll bring her home today "

Bora doesn't want to go but does not have a choice.

Bora looked sadly at Nari and Dae before her new parents make her go in the car and the car door shut closed.

The car opens it's engine and it makes it's way away, away from her friends,away from the orphanage, the car disappeared from the view.
