The next morning, I woke up as early as sunrise even though it was a bit hard this time has the bed was comfortable most Village life doesn't just Fade Away overnight. I went and took a bath after preparing it myself and getting the towels, it's not like I'm not into people doing stuff for me, but it's not right to forget your route.

I came out after drying myself off and wrapping myself with the towel then two girls around my age,probably little older than me walked into the room with their heads bowed slightly and hands behind their backs. I recognize them from last night, they were the same girls that prepared my bath and coaxed into being bathed by their hands but then they looked confident and playful although one of them had a certain rude ad stubborn look to her but now they looked scared.

" how may I help you?" I asked as I tried to keep the irritation in my voice at bay.

"We are extremely remorseful for not coming early enough to assist you, we didn't know that you would wake up as early as sunrise regardless of how stressful the day before was" one of the two girls said apologetically

" Yes my lady if we had known, we would have prepared everything for you, but from now henceforth we would make sure to do everything for you... Just please have mercy on us." said the other girl, and it was really shocking how much respect could be given to a person or rather a position

" It is okay, actually I like doing things by myself plus, I won't like to be at someone's beck and call" I said and smiled assuring

" May I know your names?" i asked, and they fIrst looked at each other before looking at me with wide smiles

" My name is Aileen"

"My name is Joan" the other with the rude and stubborn look said but don't get me wrong they both look very pretty.

" Well, my name is Camila and I really hope we can be friends" I said then gave them the friendliest smile I had and they nodded excitedly

" of course my lady, plus, the word around maids here is that you and Lord Leonardo are going horse back riding which by the way is going to be very..." Joan was saying but Aileen interrupted by saying

" Romantic" in an excited tone and Joan nodded in agreement

" So as a friend, we are going to pick out a riding outfit and do your hair for you so just sit and relax" Joan said and sat me down on the chair of the dressing table. The two girls went into the dressing room and came out moments later with royal blue jeans and a white lacy shirt which were cute, but I really liked the riding black boots they also brought. They creamed me then dressed me up and styled my hair in a ponytail.

" You are really pretty my Lady" Aileen said with her hands covering her mouth slightly

" Yeah, isn't Lord Leonardo a lucky man, he probably won't be able to take his eyes of you" Joan said, and I gave her a warning glare, but it was a friendly one, but she straightened up, and it made me laugh as I headed out of the room. The moment i walked outsIde the room, the male guards around immediately turned to me then mysterious smiles appeared on their faces, so I went back into the room

"I don't think I should go" I said, and the two gave me devilish looks

"No, my lady that is not going to be possible" Aileen said sweetly

" oh my lady, with All due respect... You are going" Joan said and pushed me out of .y own room. I guess she easily attaches her self to people. Two other maids held my hands and escorted me to the stables or rather dragged me stylishly despite my unwillingness.

Leonardo was standing beside a white horse, stroking its head. He was wearing a white rugged but good-looking shirt and royal blue jeans and black riding boots as well... Shit, those bitches made us wear matching outfits.

" I didn't know the emperor wears anything that isn't a royal as at yesterday, but they look great on you" I said in a bit of a flirting tone as I approached him.

" You look... Beautiful" he said in a bewildered tone as he stared at me intensely as if analysing me and I unintentionally blushed and looked away..... Oh geez, I shouldn't have come.

" Thanks... I can probably take you on in a horse back riding race" I challenged him just to change the topic and he smirked

" You really think so?" he asked then signaled the stable guy to bring out another horse which he did immediately, it was a black one which I mounted the moment it was brought

" First to the river in the woods, wins " he said and I nodded and he mounted his horse.

" Me and Sally will try to go easy on you" Leonardo said

" Do you best, me an spirit won't pity" I said and just like that, we were racing through the woods with the wind blowing freely and I felt very alive, so alive that I almost forgot that I was in front of Leonardo by a few meters. It was all fun and games until... Bam bam, I heard a loud fire and something went past my ear as fast as light and I wanted to believe it was my imagination, but the sound came and this time it hit something but what?. Before I could think much , I felt myself going down so I looked at sprit and a shriek escaped my lip when I saw blood gushing out of spirits head, the ground was sloping violently so I couldn't fall with spirit, instinctively, I grabbed a strong branch tight as the horse fell and rolled down. Leonardo came and pulled me so I sat in front of him on his Sally

" What just happened?" I ask myself a bit shaky
