Ishani leans back in her chair, staring out of the window. The view is stunning—high-rise buildings, the city’s pulse in full force—but her thoughts are miles away. She needs to stay focused, stay one step ahead of Mehra, and she knows she can’t let Karan’s doubts distract her.

You’re not telling me everything. What’s your real agenda here, Ishani?

Karan’s thoughts (trying to read her expression): I’ve been around the block enough times to know when someone’s holding back. And Ishani? She’s holding back.

What do you mean?

I’m not an idiot. You’re too focused on this, too determined. And you haven’t told me everything. You’re working on something outside of this deal, something bigger.
Ishani Deshmukh (Female Lead)
Ishani’s thoughts (feeling the weight of his words): So he knows. But can I trust him enough to tell him the truth? I’m not sure, not yet. I can’t afford to let my emotions cloud my judgment.

I get it. But I need you to trust me. For now, just focus on Mehra. We’ll handle the rest when the time comes.
The air between them feels heavier now, the tension undeniable. Karan stands up, clearly not satisfied, but willing to move forward—for now. Ishani watches him leave, the weight of their unspoken conflict settling deeper in her chest.

Ishani’s thoughts (silently reprimanding herself): I can’t let Karan see me falter. He’s already questioning my methods. The last thing I need is him pulling away at the wrong moment.
