Lina remains motionless in her bed, without making any noise until it stops being heard, but the fear does not let her sleep well, she gets up every now and then and spends the whole night like that until her phone alarm sounds at 4 in the morning, she gets up and goes into the bathroom, takes care of her needs, brushes her teeth and then gets dressed.
She wants to get to the fonda early, to prepare the cookies and pancakes, and have breakfast before going to Mrs. Beatriz's house.
When she leaves her house, she immediately starts walking, but as she walks she feels that she is being watched and quickens her pace.
She has the feeling that someone is following her, it is still very early, there are hardly any people circulating through the streets yet as other times she stops to see if someone is coming behind her, but she cannot see anyone, the lights of the lamps illuminate very little and she cannot distinguish some figures that are seen in the distance.
Lina frightened says to herself. - Why do I feel like I'm being followed. - She begins to walk faster, which makes her arrive at the fonda where she works in less time, when she arrives she is so tired that her heart beats so fast as if it were going to jump out of her chest. -
- Calm down Lina, we have arrived, everything is fine. - Lina says to herself, adjusting her hair, breathing deeply taking some fresh air and then enters the market and heads towards where the fonda is. -
Don Jose is already there, it is understood that he has just arrived, because he is just opening, when he sees Lina he is surprised.
