Glimpse of the Spirit World (Mikey X Y/N)
Episode 4
(The glade feels heavy, the lingering darkness from the Shade’s attack making Y/n uneasy. Mikey sharpens his glowing blade while Y/n gathers courage to ask her burning question.)
Princess Y/n
"Mikey… why are you protecting me? You don’t seem like the type to care about anyone."
Mikey
(smirking, without looking up)
"You’re right. I don’t care much for humans. But you’re different. The forest marked you, and whether I like it or not, that makes you my problem."
Princess Y/n
(glaring)
"That’s not an answer. What does the forest’s mark even mean?"
Mikey
(seriously)
"It means you’re tied to this place now, princess. The Shade and the spirits won’t leave you alone until you fulfill your purpose here."
(Y/n clenches her fists, frustration boiling over.)
Princess Y/n
"And what if I don’t want to? What if I just leave?"
Mikey
(chuckling)
"Good luck with that. The forest won’t let you."
(Y/n looks away, her determination growing. She won’t be a pawn in someone else’s game.)
(Mikey decides to teach Y/n basic survival skills to defend herself. They stand in an open clearing, with Mikey tossing her a wooden staff.)
Mikey
"If you want to survive, you’ll need to learn how to fight."
Princess Y/n
(catching the staff awkwardly)
"I’m a princess, not a warrior. I’ve never even held a weapon before."
Mikey
(grinning)
"Good thing I’m an excellent teacher. Now, try to hit me."
(Y/n hesitates before swinging the staff clumsily. Mikey dodges easily, laughing.)
Mikey
"That was pathetic. Again!"
(She swings again, putting more effort into it, but Mikey catches the staff mid-swing.)
Mikey
"Not bad, but you’re too predictable. Use your instincts."
(Y/n grits her teeth, determination lighting her eyes. She feints a swing to the left before jabbing at Mikey’s side, catching him off guard.)
Mikey
(chuckling, impressed)
"Not bad, princess. Maybe you’re not as helpless as I thought."
(As Y/n and Mikey return to the glade, they find Shiori waiting, leaning against a tree with a sly smile.)
Shiori
"I see you’re learning to fight. About time, Y/n."
Princess Y/n
"What do you want, Shiori?"
Shiori
(ignoring the hostility)
"To help, of course. The Shade grows stronger every day, and Mikey here can’t protect you forever."
Mikey
(crossing his arms)
"I don’t need your help."
Shiori
(smirking)
"Maybe not, but Y/n does. There’s more to surviving the forest than swinging a stick. She’ll need to learn its secrets."
(She steps closer to Y/n, her piercing green eyes filled with urgency.)
Shiori
"If you want answers, meet me at the old shrine tomorrow. Come alone."
(Before Y/n can respond, Shiori vanishes into the trees, leaving Mikey visibly annoyed.)
Mikey
"Don’t trust her. She has her own agenda."
Princess Y/n
"She knows more about the forest than you’re telling me. If she can help, I’ll take the risk."
(As night falls, Y/n sits by the glowing pool, reflecting on the day’s events. Mikey joins her, uncharacteristically quiet.)
Princess Y/n
"You’re awfully quiet. What’s on your mind?"
Mikey
(after a pause)
"You. If you keep pushing forward, you’ll only put yourself in more danger. The forest doesn’t care about your life, Y/n."
Princess Y/n
"Then why do you? You keep saving me, teaching me… why not just let the forest take me?"
(Mikey looks at her, his usual smirk gone.)
Mikey
"Because I made a promise. And whether I like it or not, I keep my promises."
(He doesn’t answer, standing abruptly.)
Mikey
"Get some rest, princess. Tomorrow will be harder than today."
(As he walks away, Y/n watches him, a growing sense of curiosity and trust forming in her heart.)
(In the depths of the forest, the Shade gathers strength, its shadowy form growing larger. A deep voice echoes in the darkness.)
Unknown voice
"The girl must not reach the shrine. Stop her… or suffer the consequences."
(The Shade snarls, its glowing red eyes blazing with fury as it disappears into the night.)
