His Innocent Wife Chapter 1

In the Outlaws house a small girl sits in her room at her desk reading a book

A knock sounds on the door and a maid walks in

Maid

“Young mistress your father would like to see you in his office”

Nevaeh

“Oh okay thank you!”

The young maid bows before walking out the room

The girl stands from the chair and makes her way to her dads office humming a random tune

-knock! Knock! Knock!-

Mr. Owen Outlaw

“Come in.”

She walks into the room with a slight smile

Nevaeh

“Yes sir?”

Mr. Owen Outlaw

“Sit down”

She clears her throat and takes a seat

Mr. Owen Outlaw

“You’re getting married in two days”

Nevaeh’s eyes widen in shock

“W-why?..”

Mr. Owen Outlaw

“Don’t ask questions.”

Nevaeh

“But..”

Mr. Owen Outlaw

“Out.”

The girl stands up and leaves his office with a frown

She bumps into her step sister who’s smiling with evil eyes

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“So..you’re getting married how cute..to bad he’s an ugly weirdo.”

Nevaeh

“What are you talking about?”

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“You don’t know?”

Nevaeh looks at her confused

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“Oh you don’t, that just makes it better!”

She laughs loudly

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“I was going to get married to the man but I’ve heard he’s a ugly dog I was only gonna marry him for money but looks also matter to me”

She furrows her eyebrows

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“Oh! Let me reword that for you. I told daddy to set you up with him instead!”

Nevaeh

“What..that’s not fair!”

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“Oh shut up you freak”

She slaps Nevaeh across the face her sharp nails scratching her delicate skin

Caitlyn (Step sis)

“Oops!” She laughs and walks off

Nevaeh runs to her room and jumps onto her bed crying

“W-why me..”

That night she cry’s herself to sleep
