1. The awkward meet
*Tokyo's neon-drenched streets pulsed with life, a cacophony of sounds and colors that threatened to consume the senses. Yet, in a small, unassuming alleyway, a different world existed where azi was all alone again after serving in the military for 7 years as he returned to his hometown after this long tiring years but he's still the same yet there's something different in him.*
azi
I should have checked in the electricity office before returning, who the hell on earth thought that they will be cutting the power and also in this goddamn rainy day? Sucks to be a ordinary man i guess, tch.
azi
i don't even have the landlords number dammit. I bet the stray animals are living a better life than this gosh.
*As he was mumbling to himself, he saw a cat near the next door who was totally drenched in the rain trembling like crazy and was barely getting out of the dustbin which was kicked by him twice before entering his apartment*.
*sighs it's okay guys it's him and his anger issues*
azi
Nah, I don't think so. Anyways what do we have now? Let's check my phone.
Hmm
Hmmm
WHAT?!
This much only? Only 3 contacts? What the hell have i been doing my whole life? Oh wait I have never used my phone in the dorm neither someone has asked for my number right.
*As if someone will ask for his number geez. He's been using the old model even before joining the military so people already assumed that he's a old geezer*
*As he was roaming around in his balcony looking for someone to help him, but couldn't find anything else rather than two broken bulbs and one umbrella which was placed right before his door as if someone knew that it would rain today.*
azi
An umbrella? Weird who could have put it here? Zirin? Nah she doesn't even share her depression with me so umbrella is way too far than that. Well who cares?
Hi budd welcome to your new home?
who tf am i even talking to now? An umbrella? Have i finally lost it? and also this flat is no better than a deepshit. But at first i have to do something about this electricity.
*as azi stepped into his bedroom, the air thick with memories. Dusty sunlight filtered through the window, casting a warm glow on the familiar space. He breathed in deeply, the scent of old books, the poems on the wall and the portraits that he left hanging there.*
*As he wandered through the room, his fingers trailed over the poems on the wall which are mostly moist and the worn wooden desk, and the shelf overflowing with dog-eared novels.*
*as azi sighs and stares at the celling as if it's trying to tell him something.
*when we will grow up let's paint the celling zii."
weird but why only celling? We have the whole house so why not the walls kei?*
*As kei laughs slightly and looks at azi while patting his head slowly.
because celling are the only thing which reminds me of the sky because you have to look up at the sky from the ground and you feel like it's Hugging you from the above same as the celling. A room is not complete without it's roof, understood?*
azi
That time i didn't get what you were trying to tell me but i guess i quite get it now kei....
With quite agression, azi turned the knob and pulled the door open. A sliver of sunlight cut through the gap, illuminating the delicate features of the young man standing before him. his dark hair was tied back in a neat short ponytail , and his bright, inquisitive eyes sparkled like polished onyx.
