Every higher class family was present there; and of course who would wish to miss such a luxurious party thrown by the Kim's. Also, it was a great event for all of them to climb up the ladder by improving their connection with the Kim's by being in their good books.

After the cake cutting both Taehyung and Rose were attending the guests together.

Mr. Lee

Congratulations to both of you, for your eighth wedding anniversary.

Mr. Lee

So when are you guys planning to give this huge empire its future hire.

Rose

*blushed*

Rose blushed at the words coming from Mr. Lee, while for Taehyung, it was as if someone had knocked the air out of his lungs.

The realization hit him hard, but he was in a position to react now. He somehow wanted to leave the party and reach home, his home, where his husband and kids would always wait for him to return.

*smiled, but not even reaching his eyes*

After the talk with Mr. Lee, Taehyung immediately left the banquet hall, he needed some fresh air for sure.

He was in the garden below night sky looking at the beautiful moon, thinking about the mess he has put himself into. If only he had been a bit thoughtful and courageous and not a coward he would have never ended up like this.
