Yuki and him made eye contact for a second but Yuki turned away quickly as to not provoke him. He walked into the queue for getting the food, but the second he turned away, the guy and his friends starts talking,

"Kaede, is that the one you told us about?" Haru, his friend asked him. Yes so this is the so called kaede Hatsumi, one of the popular guys of the school, his father's company owns the school literally*. He and his friends are all rich and live everyday in the most entertaining way as possible. "Sure looks innocent!" chuckles osamu, kaede's another friend. "Nah he is pretty" "pretty disgusting!" comments momo. Momo is the prettiest girl in the school, half of the male population likes her but she (ofc) likes kaede. But kaede has never shown any interest in her. "Hey that's too rude man" laughs osamu "nah, just look at his appearance! He surely looks like the one who comes from a slug" momo continued. Haru ignoring them all, asks kaede "are you eating lunch from here today?" Kaede who's eyes never leaving Yuki replied "yes why not! Let's eat with our little friend today" From the direction kaede was looking haru understood whom he meant but osamu, asked "what , whoo? Is itt??! Wait, don't tell-" before he could finish, momo interjected "kaedeee are you seriously going to sit with that rag?? Why not come with me for a whileee?? We could talk a bit! And what's so good about that homeless-" "that's enough momo! If you're not interested then don't come with us" kaede said in a stern voice. Just when he was about leave he saw Mie walking towards Yuki's table. She was pretty, with long black hair and blue gems for eyes. She was beautiful and unlike momo she had a sweet personality. Kaede had a huge crush on mie from the beginning of the semester and almost everyone except mie knew it. Yuki was sitting alone on his table when he saw Mie approaching him, he got a bit nervous watching her coming towards him as he knew no one here. "can I sit here?" mie asked, "u-uh yeah! Sure !" he answered. "thanks" mie giggles and sits next to him at the table.

"So.. whats your name ? Are you new here?" She asks him "i-im Yuki.. Yuki Euisuke " he replied. "Yuki!? That's a sweet name" she smiles "I'm mieko mitsuo but you can call me mie, nice to meet you :D" she said. "Nice to.. meet you too mie :)" he said. They then continued to talk about various things, mie asked him about his old school and his house and many other things. Yuki though timidly, gave answers to her questions and just nodded his head or made "hmm" sounds when she was talking about herself and her life in the school. 'she seems like a nice person... Maybe I can be friends with her.. but won't she gets tired of me someday...ahh let's not think about it much' thoughts like these were entering his mind when mie snapped him out of the daze with her sudden high pitched voice. "Soo.. has anyone caught your eyes yett?? You're so cute, it won't be hard for you to get someone you like" she asked with a secretive yet humourous tone in her voice. The first thought that came into Yuki's mind after hearing her question was the incident from the morning. He quickly lowered his head in shy. "Ooohhh so there really is someone!! Tell me pleasee!, I promise I won't tell anyone!" She said with an excitement in her voice. "Uhh no there isn't.. anyone.. like that-" he wasnt lying actually, He had only known that guy from this morning and he didn't even knew his name. With his ripped body and 6'1 height, Yuki was more afraid of him than interested. As he kept thinking about these things he suddenly heard a voice familiar to his ears near him. "Hey mie, how have you been?" He turned his head towards the voice. The one who stood near their table was non other than the Kaede Hatsumi himself, the one who has crashed onto him this morning, and the same person whom he was thinking about right now!
