Threelochan was about to touch the shadowsteel but Venu stopped him “you have to first get to know your rank”

Threelochan said “what do you mean rank? Isn’t this shadowsteel gonna determine my power?”

Venu said “it does but before touching that we have to know if your really capable of even touching a legendary shadowsteel”

Threelochan said confused “legendary? It has types?”

Venu sighed and said “there are three types of shadowsteel, normal, elite and legendary. Your purity defines your rank, like Akshay has 98% purity and touched touched legendary shadowsteel but people say that his shadowsteel was way more powerful then legendary but forget that. What’s important is that your gonna first test your purity levels and based on that you will be given your cape-“

Threelochan cut him off and said “cape? What do you mean?”

Venu said frustrated “just why the hell are you the president without even a ounce of knowledge, look this cape has three variations, a cape with white star back of it are called normal rankers, a cape with white and red stars are called elite rankers and two white glowing stars and in middle with a red glowing moon is the president’s cape and also the legendary ranker”

Threelochan says “oh so that’s how it works, so if I get the elite rank I can’t be the president?”

Venu says “you can be, but your respect will not be given”

Threelochan says “that’s hectic, fine take me to the test”

Venu walks out of the room and gestures him to follow, “the test is simple, there will be 3 weapons infront of you” he opened the gate of a huge room and it was very quiet and fancy, with three weapons placed there with high security. “These are the weapons, our most powerful presidents used, the Talwar is an normal rank weapon used by the 2nd president, the sword is an elite rank weapon, used by the 3rd president and the long sword a legendary weapon with 100 purity used by the 1st president. If any of these glows when you touch them, you will be given the rank and be aware these weapons show you the purity too”

Threelochan looked at the weapons and gulped “if nothing glows?”

Venu says “then you will be kicked out of this building without any regard”

Threelochan frowned and then looked back at the weapons, he slowly touched the Talwar and it didn’t glow. “Shit it didn’t glow what n-“

Venu said frustrated “try the other two, it only shows the specific rank, not the other ones”

Threelochan gulped again and touched the long sword this time it glowed “oh yes it glowed!”

a number appeared on the screen “the purity is 89%”

Venu was surprised “oh well your not completely useless”

Threelochan frowned “I deserve respect now”

Venu says “respect? Get it from what you do not by this” then he walked out of the room gesturing him to follow.

Harsha was waiting outside and then asked him excited “what happened? Nothing glowed? I knew you were usele-“

Threelochan smacked his head “I got the legendary, 89% purity”

Harsha says “no way!”

Venu explains “look things might seem confusing as there are ranks and purity stuff but now it’s a single thing, when you touch the shadowsteel of the rank you are, it will activate the remains of the metal in your blood and then give you the power, if you know the update log James made like literally years ago, we don’t know the real reason behind how we get different powers, then the metal will mould into the weapon which suits your power. For our gang it’s mostly sword type and sometimes the martial arts hand to hand variant that your idiotic head can never get”

Threelochan said “hmm”

Three of them entered the room where the shadowsteel was kept and infront of him was a legendary variant. Venu says “go on touch it”

Threelochan walked anxiously towards the ingot which was kept on the table, he slowly touched it with his right hand. There was a huge purple light radiating from the ingot which caused Harsha and Venu to cover their eyes, after a while the light was gone and Harsha saw Threelochan’s hands fused with the shadowsteel, till his wrists was the shadowsteel. Venu quickly looked up at the screen “threelochan has obtained the shadow martial arts”

Venu says “a martial arts variant?!! Impossible a whip like you got a powerful variant!”

Raghav peeped into the room and tried to use his manipulation technique but Threelochan’s shadow hands rejected it with a powerful blow into his brain which caused him to be unconscious.

Lalith said “impossible this kid even rejected Raghav!”
