Jungkook wouldn't open up the first few visits. Instead he would compliment Tae on his clothes, and talk about how he imagined the weather would be in that moment. Tae had to be patient if he wanted to get something out of him.

Taehyung

*smile as he's sitting* are you comfortable?

jungkook

*lying down on a big chair* Very much, Dr. k *grins*

Taehyung

well, we had a deal. I free you from your chair, and you talk.

jungkook

I'm a man of my word *hums as he places his hands behind his head* what do you wanna know, honey.

Taehyung

why are you a murderer? who was your first victim?

Jungkook was silent for a moment. He started at the ceiling.

jungkook

*whisper* My father used to beat me up pretty badly sometimes. I would just be sitting there and next thing I know is I wake up from a blackout with bloody nose and a bloody lip.

Taehyung

*eyes widen as he listens carefully*

jungkook

*cracks a smile, but solemnly stares at ceiling* I remember when I was eight he took me to the circus. Oh how he loved the clowns *laughs* they were the only ones that could make him smile.

jungkook

His friends would beat me too *laughs* He enjoyed to watch, he really did.

Taehyung

*nearly breaks into tears from imagining it*

jungkook

*looks at taehyung and says with a wide grin* Do you wanna know how I got these scars? *holds out his arm and reveal a scars that ran across his forearm*

Taehyung

*stares at it and then looks at his patient* Your father gave you that?

jungkook

*laughs* No, it was his friend he wanted to play with me.

Taehyung

Jungkook what you went through wasn't your fault-

jungkook

OH Dr. k, don't tell me you feel bad for me? perhaps I deserved it. *shrugs, fakes a sad expression* perhaps this is what I'm meant to be.

Taehyung

Do you believe in fate, Jungkook? *heart nearly stops when his patient looks into his eyes*

jungkook

*hums* Do I?

jungkook

*smiles* what exactly is fate?

Taehyung

That something is just meant to be, no matter how you try to avoid it, it'll always catch up to you. Your destiny- i mean. *clears throat* Is that what you think happened to you?

jungkook

*stays silent, his eyes trail down to tae's lip and then to his hands tapping on the desk*

Taehyung

*frowns* Jungkook .

jungkook

Han seok reminds me of my father.

Taehyung

Han seok? But he's a hero, he has saved so many people-

jungkook

*cringes* Han seok?! *approaches the desk and places his hands on top as he stares at tae* he's self righteous, arrogant, and ever since he put on that suit more and more people have died.

Taehyung

Jungkook, han seok is doing everyone a service. He's a hero that risks his life helping others, he's cleaned up your mess plenty of times-

jungkook

*cracks a smile* then why the mask, Dr. k? If his intentions are good, why the mask?

Taehyung

*stares at him as he bites his lower lip in thought*

jungkook

He's a manipulator making the public believe that they're safe, when in reality they're far from it. He's self righteous, hypocritical, and hides behind that damn mask.

jungkook

He's always there taunting me like my father once did, he's not better than him.
