Lucid Dreaming

After last night's stroll down around this hilton hotel having a free guide to explain each spots in this wide huge hotel, and got a chance to visit one of the huge mall near this hotel. The next morning, she wake up late around 8:30AM,because last night she's awake at dawn around 4:00 AM feeling amazed and out of words by the beauty of dubai city through this window in her room. Taking some photos of it and update it on social media, it was like lucid dreaming, imagine waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the beautiful city that never sleeps.

All of her hardworks really pay off.In indonesia she was having a hard time finding her true self, then fortunately she got her dream postgraduate bachelor in London majoring international relation.living in the UK as an imigrant from southeast asia is not easy for her. Even though the government already paid for your university dorm, health insurance,etc but outside that you have to struggle yourself. She was in  Essex university that's the college that she studied for post graduate studies,she's also applying job as a waitress in one of the cafes near the college with the salary amount 250 pounds per month maybe this kind of salary for a waitress in indonesia is huge. You can be a succesfull waitress in indonesia, a rich waitress with a lot of salary. But in the UK what will you do with 250 pounds in the big,wide and expensive city and also the capital city of the uk, capital of england, the no1 most visited european country.

And the behaviour of the boss there and some of the coworkers are very toxic and rude, she's actually an introvert who enjoys her solitude,but she's glad that she always forced herself to socialize and most of the time works .at that time she have 4 friends 1 who also work as a waitress and 2 chefs who cooks the food.They shared each other struggle almost everyday but eventually she stopped working there after 4 months. Even though keeping and collecting 250 pounds salary permonth is fun but, deep inside her heart it's not enough,she had that dream job that's far more good than this.

So she left her job as a waitress because she knew and she believe that she had that dreams that is bigger than this.

In her college she had so many musician friends,the professional ones and the amateur ones.She always attended their gigs, their event and stuff. And that moment she knew,that this is something that she really wants,performing,digging to her old dreams that she's been burried long time ago,she wants to be a singer.Her friend's lead singer in his band were quitting because there are some issues going on between them,When they're about to perform again without the lead singer, he looked at her who was on the crownd, and asked her if she could sing with them that night.At first she refused because she was shy and had her low self esteem,but she thought about it again why you won't give a chance? So that night she sang with her friends and her friend's band.The moment she release a voice from her mouth,the crowd went crazy,it was a memorable moment for her,and a moment that change her life.

After that amazing show she became the lead singer for the band for few months but eventually that band is about to disband. The drummer wants to focus on his real life's job, the keyboardist having a misbehaviour so we got into an argument a lot with him.

So after 5 month performing the band disbanded, but her friend thomas who's the band leader. He signed her a contract with his small trusted recording company.Her childhood dream really came true,she really became a singer after a year living in the UK,who will thought that the dream that is always impossible suddenly came true.

Not really that popular singer,she's an indie singer with old skool 70s,80s,90s and 2000s touch and style,music with genre such as rock,slow rock,pop,ballad,and sometimes jackswings and other upbeat genre. Some of her debut songs charting in the UK chart,a great start and wonderful accomplishment for a girl that came from southeast asia like her, she had that star moment where there's interviews,invitation to radio,podcasts,talk shows,magazine etc.She's much well known in the UK and country near UK.Even though her music career went up and down,but she's still enjoying this career plus she got lovely lovely fans from everywhere all around the world.

But with unstable music career she can tell that she's sometime also underpaid. Sometimes per month she lost track of her income and salary. There are one time that she's been not inactive in the showbiz industry and her salary is only 150 pounds. Like what can you get for a living with that money in london!? So its a hardwork for her as a college student and then becoming a musician she have to be smart managing her time carefully. She always practicing upgrading her lyrics writing skill, poetry writing skill,guitar, drum, and keyboard skill to produce so many good musics. And the next level thing that she do is she also joined a dance class,she worked really hard on dancing about 3 months she's been through level in that dance studio as a student and intermediate dancer,so after her 3 months of intense practicing she can make her own coreoghrapy for her next song.

The more she looks at the light of the city in dawn hours like this,she also had thoughts about a boy whom she used to date in her early freshman year as a postgraduate student.A boy name Edward from china,they are the same age,they had so many similarities, sharing so many thoughts,etc.Even though they had different type of interest in music,but they appreciate each other's type of music and try to appreciate each other's differences,just like lana del rey's lyrics in her song blue jeans that went "you were sorta punk rock,i grew up on hip hop,but you fit me better than my favorite sweater" but make it switch between liv and Edward.She met her in college's basketball field,she was just walking around the campus on a cold december day,when her eyes caught on a charming handsome asian boy playing the basketball with few of his friends with full of joy.Then Edward himself realize that he's been watched by someone,and caught liv's eyes.Liv was making an excuse and lied that she only watch his match because its fun,then edward having a chitchat with her in that talk they reveal what they're majoring.Since Edward knew that Liv is majoring international relation,edward often visits liv in her faculty even though their class hour is not the same,Edward was majoring in film.They spent their time together more and more,until one day Edward confess his love for her,they became a lovebird for a year.Everything was fine but went downhill a year after their relationship edward became more aggressive towards liv,almost break the woman inside her with forces even though liv already saying no,and most importantly cheat on liv with a woman,when he's back in china his hometown.

Liv's heart does broken.For her,Edward was her best ex even though in the end he was toxic,after her relationship with Edward ended she still date a lot of man afterwards but,no one can make her feel good like when she's with Edward.She did everything she could to erase Edward from her head besides making music,performing,and dancing.She also joined theatre club,and sometimes took an internship at random offices.Her obsession with self distraction reach to being unhealthy intoxicated herself,until there's one moment where she almost end her life because she can't take those pressure anymore.One of her friend help her to make sure everything will going to be okay.sooner or later things really get better her music career growing again,she became recognized by the public,the UK medias again and it was last year in 2019,she got a chance to tour and travel in that year also in some countries,after touring is where she find the passion to go solo travelling.Seeing the world alone,or maybe with some friends must be a beautiful thing that can happen in her life,so she left her music career for a while and will be back if she ever feel satisfied with her travelling experiences in the future.

Liv was done collecting that memories by watching the dreamy city light on dawn while putting sad musics on her earphone that she plugged in her ears,memories does gone away and we can't collect all back and even do it again.But liv was excited for her new journey as a solo traveller,and her hard works really pay off while she's hustling in london,her bank account is fat now.So she's exited for her upcoming adventure
