...*FLASHBACK*...

"Is that difficult? It's a good thing I'm alone, no siblings because I don't want them to feel what I'm feeling now! No child deserves everything! Shouldn't I be the first to experience what they say is love? But why! Why can't I feel that about you?" Mom tried to approach me but I pushed her which caused her to fall down.

“You deserve it!” I screamed. I was surprised when dad slapped me.

“That's too much, cayena!” His opinion.

"Ha! I'm still the one exaggerating? How about the both of you? How about the things you did to me? I just pushed her, didn't I? That's not even enough! You abandoned me! Abandoned!” I ran out of the house. Do I really deserve this? At the same time as I cried, the rain fell.

"Looks like god is on my side today?" I whispered and ran faster. I didn't notice that I was already in the middle of the road.

“CAYENA!” My parents called me. I looked at them and was surprised to see the approaching truck.

I woke up with sweat all over my body. “Duchess!” Is miya already here?

"What happened—"

"What time is it?" I asked her.

"Huh? Ah—8:30 am.” Sh*t. I forgot today the female lead will go to mcknight's mansion.

She is a guest of the emperor but he will live here because of the emperor's order. I sighed before standing up.

“D-Duchess! Why are you sweating so much? Did something happen?” She touched my forehead to make sure I wasn't sick. I put it down.

"I'm fine." My answer is short.

"B-but maybe you need to see a doctor?" She was about to come out when I touched her arm.

"I'm fine. Is the guest here yet?” As I let her go.

"Yes indeed! You need prepare and be neat!” As she pushed me into the comfort room.

"Just wait! Don't tell me, you will give me a bath?" I asked her and he happily nodded.

“Of course! I need to bathe you! Don't ask any more! We have to hurry!”

"HUH?!" I pushed her closer to the door and she flinched.

“D-Duchess?”

"I can bathe myself. I don't need your help anymore. Y-you can go out.” We are in front of the door. I was about to push her when she grabbed the door.

"I DON'T WANT TO!" She said angrily and also pushed me to enter again. We both pushed each other. Nothing will happen if we just keep pushing so I thought pretend to be angry I stopped pushing.

“Miya!” I called her name loudly and she stopped.

“D-Duchess?”

"Come out. I command you.” I calmly said that she immediately obeyed.

"I'll obey, duchess." She came out after that. I coughed before starting to shower.

I got ready and chose the most beautiful dress. I was wearing a fitted white dress with a slit on the right side and an open back. I paired my dress with violet hair color. I just let my hair down and curled it.
