From Keya's perspective, she sat near the window, deliberately leaving the seat to her right vacant because she preferred not to have a seatmate.

Teacher Yumi was a charming Japanese teacher who taught psychology. She had been Yumi's tutor during high school and was familiar with her family background.

...Suddenly, A girl with an air of confidence walked into the classroom and stood before the class....
..."Hello, my name is Eve Smith," she began, introducing herself....
The class fell silent as the students' eyes turned to Eve, except for Keya, who was busy gazing out the window watching the birds.
...“Say hi to your new classmate, everyone,” Teacher Yumi said....
The class responded with a chorus of greetings, and the boys were mesmerized by her presence.

Keya felt a bit upset, and they were both quiet during class. However, as she looked at Eve's face, she felt a sense of calm; Eve seemed to exude a very calming aura.
