"Omg Madi I'm sooo nervous what if I rank lower than the previous exam?" Stella said anxiously while they both walked towards the board list.

"Chill out okay. You did your best. I'm sure you did great." Madi said trying to calm her down.

"Easy for you to say. You'll be ranked 1 again" Stella said rolling her eyes as they both squeezed themselves to the crowd to get to the front.

Madi and Stella finally placed themselves in front and looked at the list of top notchers. Madi still secured the rank 1 and was dumbfounded with the person who ranks just below her.

"Yaaaay! Rank 6 baby!" Stella shouted happily and looked at Madi who's still staring at the name on Rank 2. Confusingly Stella looked at where she was looking and grasped loudly at the name.

"Oh my God. Am I dreaming?"

Madi pinched her cheeks hard and Stella yelled hey awww, "no you don't" Madi said and dragged Stella out of the crowd and walked towards their classroom.

Upon reaching the classroom Andus was surrounded by tons of girls. Congratulating him. Stella went up to him and congratulated him also while Madi went to her seat to settle in. Andus glances at Madi who's taking out a book from her bag and starting to read it. "Reading again after finals? Hmm. What a book worm she is" Andus thought looking at her.

The school bell rang and the girls went back to their class and others settled in their seats.

"Hey. Congrats for placing in rank 2" Madi greeted him and smiled a bit.

Andus heart flutters upon what she said. And she even smiled at him. "Even though it was just a sparing smile but still she smiled at me!" Andus thought of staring at Madi.

Madi looked at Andus uncomfortable with the stare he gave her. Andus snapped out and said "You like me now Madison?" teasing her.

"No. I admire you for being like that"

"What do you mean by being like that?" Andus said confusingly.

"You know. You do things like partying and all but you still have the time to study. Wait wait wait I didn't see you study except that time when you're reviewing for the last minute. Don't tell me you're cheating?" Madi said unbelievable

Andus laughs at how bubbly she sounds like "Hey hey hold up girl. I didn't cheat okay? I prioritize my studies even though I'm quite busy sometimes. Okay not sometimes but all the time." Andus said wiggling his brows at Madi which made Madi laugh cause she thinks he looked stupid doing that.

Andus looked at Madi while laughing "Damn she is pretty. What a beautiful view to see" Andus said still looking at her and they both didn't notice that the whole class was staring at both of them. Stella on the corner of the room was happy to see that Madi is opening up to Andus.

Madi noticed that she and Andus were the center of attention so she composed herself and didn't bother Andus' stare.
