Hijackers and More!

My mother and father started a fake argument which everyone could listen. My mother said, “I am sure that this hijacker was a thief of his own wallet and when everything he had got finished, he betrayed everybody in his family and became a hijacker.”

But my father acted as he disagreed and said, “No! He must have stolen his father’s money and everybody thought he had betrayed his whole family, and now he has become a good person, but no one trusted him. As once a thief is always a thief.”

This argument had much ado about nothing but just to make the hijacker apologize to his parents for his past deeds and since he was so poor, he would ask a passenger for a phone and we will be the first one to give the phone. When he will try to take the phone, we will keep it in our hand and ask for the contact no. of his parents and when he will be busy, we will first call the pilot from another phone (whose number was saved in our phone before the flight) and ask him to land the plane as soon as possible to the nearest place and tell us the name of that place.

We will then contact the police and tell them the place where they can come and arrest the hijackers. The plan went pretty well and we were thankfully saved. Now the last straw of this France Case was that it was not the France Case now it was the Caso España (Spain case) and we were in Spain now! Instead of Bienvenue de France (welcome to France) it was written Bienvenido a España (welcome to Spain). My mother was terrified, “I thought we were going to France not to Spain. Is there a place in France called Spain?” All of us were so quiet after this statement that we could hear a pin drop.

We reserved a hotel named Mercer Hotel Barcelona. It was a very comfortable one and the food was also delicious as it was a five star hotel. We had different varieties of food and a lot of happy and funny moments which we can never forget in our life. It was such a nice trip that we even forgot the incident that took place in the plane and we even forgot that our father has planned a vacation for FRANCE and not SPAIN.

We were enjoying ourselves in the AC rooms and cozy beds. Whenever it was time to eat breakfast or brunch, we walked lazily towards our table. Anyone who has watched us would have given us the title of versión familiar huesos perezosos (family version of lazy bones … ha ha ha). It was not our mistake as we were too tired of all the happenings we have come across till now.

BUT We didn’t know it was just The Trailer.

We all thought about my birthday and the special events coming up ahead. My father showed me the dates and venue for the various events that were scheduled. To our surprise, all events were in Spain. The family breathed a sigh of relief at first. But the dates and timings were horrifying; they all were same for the three different events. Those three events were - My friend’s birthday party, the yearly get together, and my cousin’s engagement. On that day it was my birthday too!!
