As YN entered, the room buzzed with curiosity. All eyes were on her, and Taehyung smirked, noticing her arrival. “Ah, our leading lady graces us with her presence,” he quipped, raising an eyebrow.

“Let’s not get too excited, Mr. Kim,” YN shot back, taking her place beside him. “I’m here to ensure this project doesn’t fall apart because of your ego.”

Taehyung shot her a surprised glance, appreciating her insight. “Exactly. It’s about collaboration, not compromise,” he added, nodding in agreement.

As the meeting concluded, applause erupted from the audience. YN felt a rush of adrenaline; they had successfully impressed the investors. But as she turned to celebrate, she found Taehyung waiting with a calculating expression.

“Not bad for a ‘naive little girl,’” he said, a playful smirk on his face.

“Don’t flatter yourself, Kim,” YN replied, crossing her arms. “I’m just proving that I can outshine you when it matters.”

“Outshine? You mean keep up?” Taehyung teased, leaning closer. The tension between them was electric, neither willing to back down.

As they walked out together, YN could feel the eyes of their colleagues on them, and it fueled her competitive spirit. “Next time, I won’t hold back,” she warned, glancing sideways at him.

“I wouldn’t want it any other way,” Taehyung replied, his voice low and intense. “This rivalry makes it all the more enjoyable.”

That evening, YN paced her penthouse, still buzzing from the day’s events. Lusi called, and YN answered, her voice laced with excitement.

“Lusi, you won’t believe how the presentation went!” YN exclaimed.

“Did you and Mr. Ego clash again?” Lusi laughed.

“Of course! He’s infuriating, but I can’t deny he’s good at what he does,” YN admitted, her frustration softening slightly.

“Sounds like you’re starting to respect him,” Lusi teased.

“Respect? Hardly,” YN shot back, but a small smile tugged at her lips. “I just can’t let him think he’s better than me.”

Scene: Taehyung’s Home - Night

Meanwhile, Taehyung leaned against his bar, reflecting on the day. His father’s words echoed in his mind: “Don’t underestimate her.” Taehyung smirked, feeling an unusual thrill. The rivalry was intense, but it only made him want to challenge her more.

“Let’s see how far you’re willing to go, YN,” he murmured to himself.

Scene: The Next Day - Back at Work

The following day, YN arrived at work, ready to tackle their next steps. As she walked into Taehyung’s office, she noticed him deep in thought, surrounded by papers.

“Busy, Mr. Kim?” she asked, her tone laced with sarcasm.

“Always,” he replied, not looking up. “But I have time to discuss strategy.”

“Strategy? You mean how to keep me from stealing the spotlight again?” YN shot back, leaning against the doorframe.

Taehyung finally looked up, a challenge in his eyes. “Just try me.”
