Episode 3

Alberto Calle is an engineer and forty years old, due to his profession he has traveled constantly throughout the country, he has light brown eyes and brown hair, the passing of the years has consumed the attractiveness he possessed in his youth, but he believes that he is still irresistible.

He met Lorena because she was a classmate of his younger sister; she was essentially a very beautiful girl, and although he courted her while she was in school, he only started dating her when she turned eighteen; two years later he married her.

Her parents died when she was very young, and she lived with her maternal aunt, who was her only family; she didn't have much money to go to a university, but she was able to study executive secretarial skills, planning to go to university with the money she managed to save while working.

Although she worked during the first year of marriage, Alberto asked her to stop doing so, because they would start trying to have a child, and it was better for her to be calm and preparing everything at home; moving away from the capital where Lorena had always lived, leaving behind the only family she had and her friends.

Unfortunately, the years passed and Lorena did not manage to get pregnant, when they went to the doctor, they indicated that the possibility of getting pregnant naturally was almost nil, perhaps with some assisted fertilization technique; however, that was quite expensive.

Although Lorena insisted on getting a job, to raise the necessary money. Alberto assured her that he would save for it, that she was very young and that in a couple of years they would have the necessary money; years passed and there was never enough money.

Six years ago, on one of his work trips, Alberto met Paulina Del Valle, a woman who, although not pretty-faced, had a quite seductive way of being; Alberto ended up giving in to desire, and ended up starting a relationship with Paulina. Starting his double life in two different cities, making sure that none of the women knew of the other's existence.

Lorena doesn't even know how she managed to get home after finding out about her husband's deception, she in her entire life had not had eyes for anyone other than him, her entire life revolved around him. She is sitting on the bathroom floor hugging her legs and letting the shower water fall on her body; feeling that with the same lips that Alberto kissed that other woman he also kissed her hurt her, that with the same hands that caressed the other he then came to caress her she repudiated, having to assimilate that after making love to another he would return to her bed was disgusting to her.

"Lorena cries all this night, you are only allowed to cry for him tonight, then you are going to bury this love, dress yourself in dignity, demand a divorce and that he leaves your life, do you understand Lorena?, it's over, it's all over," she said to herself out loud, like a mantra that she had to repeat over and over again to gain courage and execute the action she had planned.

The pain of betrayal was stabbing, heartbreaking, the disappointment and sadness is what the soul is covered with when you find out, like a desperate internal scream that seeks to get out, that despairs and bewilders; that knot in the stomach, as if an emptiness took over the whole body and the ground under the feet disappeared and you started falling into an endless abyss.

That night Lorena cried, for that love that crumbled from one moment to the next before her eyes, she cried for the years of her life that she gave with her whole being, she cried for the life that she saw pass and that was now reduced to nothing.

Seven in the morning, on the tenth anniversary of her marriage to Lorena, Alberto Calle opens the door of his house; yesterday he sent her a message saying that he was already traveling and that he would be home early, although it appeared as if it had been seen, but she never replied to the message, as it was late when he sent it he only imagined that she was upset.

When Alberto walked through the living room, he came across two suitcases, he found it strange, there were no balloons, decorations, it was not full of flowers, and an excited Lorena filling him with kisses.

Only on the center table the orchids that Lorena bought yesterday and that led her to know the double life of her husband.

"I bought them at Floreria 'Mi maravilloso jardin' I think you know the owner perfectly," said Lorena slowly descending the stairs.

Alberto opened his eyes in surprise, how could Lorena know that place, how much does she know about his other woman, what should he do he wonders, how much does Lorena know about his double life and everything else he has deceived her in.
