Chapter two: bizarre day

...[00:33:37] god, this has been one hectic, bizarre day for me [Gilmore Girls: the Lorelai's first day at Chilton] (2000)...

I woke up from my grandmother's voice barging into my room and taking my

warm Cozy blanket away from me.

“Katie! Wake up already, we are going to be late”

I immediately sat up and lazily looked at my clock and saw it was 5 in the morning and

turn to look at my grandma like she's crazy.

“Get up, don't look at me like that”

“But lola-”

She glared at me while smiling, so i had to get up and go to the bathroom to

Shower and dress like decent women for the first time in a long time.

“Wear the dress I hang on your closet!”

“I'm already wearing it lola”

I heard no response from Lola she must be downstairs already. I look at my

unfamiliar self on the mirror walks out and went downstairs to see my family eating breakfast in the dining table.

“Woow, my daughter is a girl for once” my mother exaggerated

I rolled my eyes while scoffing off my family laughter and said “well be glad this

will be the first in a long time and last” we all laugh.

“Ok let's go now” my grandmother said as she took her handbag

“Were not eating?” I asked

“No were meeting someone there would be food there katie” My grandmother

said.

we headed out and left my grandfather clueless about who we would meet. We

arrived at the mall and head to the restaurant but silent still surrounding my grandma and me we went in the private diner and I suddenly had urge to pee yeah this happened at the right we went inside like my body is waiting for me to go miles away from the bathroom.

“Lola” I whisper “I need to go to the bathroom. I'll come back after”

I ran before I even heard a response.

Luckily, I got in time walking to the hall of luxurious dining. It was so new to me that I

look up to see more of the painting in the ceiling when I saw a child who looks the same age as me shouting to a man 10 times bigger than him.

“Didn't I tell you to tell my mom and grandparents where I am?”

The man tremble like a child in front of a child they are in front so I had to walk

pass them and can't be avoided walking silently and accidentally step on my dress and embarrassingly fall in front of the guy and kneel in front of him like God, pleaseee get me out of here.

“Madam are you ok?” The man said

“I'm ok” as I slowly look up and stand up “I'm good, thank you” look straight up

and saw the guy same my age looking up and holding his laughter great now a guy I dint know laughs at me like that God how did this happen?.

“Well I should go” I walked fast them and went inside the diner and saw my

grandma with a handsome uncle and old guy beside them beside them was a gorgeous 2 women.

“Katie this is your auntie Shane, uncle Bill, grandma Beth, and grandpa jefp” they

all smile and give me compliments

“How beautiful” Grandma beth said “where's that stubborn guy at?” Grandma Beth said.

“Mama he's on his way. Don't worry. I will make it sure” she smiled and laughed while still talking to me, we all talk. A few moments pass so fast while we're all talking when someone opens the door

“I'm sorry I'm late. I had to-” he paused and stared at me. Wait, did I have any food

in my face or something.
