To The Unknown part 1
[Location: Historical Site – Near the Monument]
Scene 1: The Ground Shifts
The group is still exploring the monument site, gathering research materials. The atmosphere feels slightly tense, but everything seems normal—until something changes.
Akila white (Fl)
I think we’ve got enough photos. Should we check out the map again, Gamal?
Gamal Ray (Ml)
Yeah, we should—
(Suddenly, the ground shakes under their feet.)
What was that?
Benny (fl bestie)
Um, did anyone else feel that?
ben (ml bestie)
Yeah, I thought it was just me. Maybe construction nearby?
(The ground shakes again, this time stronger. Dust and small rocks start falling from the surrounding cliffs.)
Akila white (Fl)
Okay, that’s definitely not normal.
Benny (fl bestie)
Guys, I don’t like this.
ben (ml bestie)
We should get out of here.
(Before they can move, the ground beneath them collapses with a loud CRACK, and they all fall into a dark hole.)
The screen goes dark as they fall into the unknown. The sound of their panicked shouts echoes as they tumble downward. Finally, they land with a thud in a strange underground cave.
Akila white (Fl)
(dazed):
Oww... Is everyone okay?
Gamal Ray (Ml)
(groaning):
I think so… What just happened?
Benny (fl bestie)
(checking herself):
I’m alive. That’s a start.
ben (ml bestie)
We fell… far. Too far for this to be just under the site.
(They all start to sit up, realizing they’ve landed somewhere completely unfamiliar. The cave is dimly lit, with strange glowing symbols carved into the stone walls.)
Akila white (Fl)
Where… are we?
Gamal Ray (Ml)
(looking around):
This doesn’t make any sense. We should be under the monument, but… this place looks ancient.
Benny (fl bestie)
(wide-eyed):
No way this is just a cave. Look at the symbols on the walls.
ben (ml bestie)
(touching one of the glowing symbols):
These aren’t part of the historical site we were researching. It’s like something out of a myth.
(Suddenly, a low HUM starts resonating from the walls. The symbols pulse with light, casting an eerie glow.)
Akila white (Fl)
Okay, what’s happening?
Benny (fl bestie)
This is not cool! We need to get out of here!
Gamal Ray (Ml)
Wait, calm down. We need to figure out where we are first.
ben (ml bestie)
Calm down? We literally just fell through the ground and into some weird underground temple. I don’t think calm is an option here.
Scene 3: The Other Dimension
(As they argue, the humming grows louder. The walls around them start shifting, and the cave entrance closes behind them.)
Akila white (Fl)
Uh… guys? The exit just sealed.
Benny (fl bestie)
What? No, no, no. We are NOT trapped here.
Gamal Ray (Ml)
(gritting his teeth):
We need to stay focused. Let’s find another way out.
ben (ml bestie)
That’s easy for you to say. You’re not freaking out like the rest of us.
Akila white (Fl)
He’s right. We can’t panic. We’ll get out of here. There’s got to be another way.
(Akila moves toward the symbols, running her hand over one of them. As she does, the humming stops abruptly, and the wall in front of them opens like a sliding door.)
Benny (fl bestie)
What… just happened?
Akila white (Fl)
I don’t know… I just touched the symbol, and—
(They all look through the newly opened doorway. On the other side is a glowing, ethereal landscape that looks nothing like the world they came from—strange floating islands, a sky filled with colors they’ve never seen, and bizarre, otherworldly creatures flying in the distance.)
Gamal Ray (Ml)
(staring in disbelief):
This… this isn’t real.
ben (ml bestie)
We just stepped into another dimension. This is straight out of a sci-fi movie.
Benny (fl bestie)
(in awe):
We’re not on Earth anymore, are we?
Akila white (Fl)
(quietly):
I don’t think so.
(They all step through the door, staring in awe at the new world before them. The door behind them seals shut.)
Akila white (Fl)
Well… now what?

Now, we figure out how to survive… and how to get back.
