Riyan leans back in his chair, staring at the number on his phone for what feels like the hundredth time. His mind spins with frustration. Every online search for the number has led to a dead end. He runs his hands through his hair, exhaling sharply, then grabs his phone and calls Aarav.

Without wasting any more time, Riyan scrolls through his contacts, stopping at sofia's name. His thumb hovers over the screen for a moment, hesitating, before he finally sends the message.

📳Hey, Sofia. It’s Riyan. I know it’s been a long time, but I need to ask you something about Aanya. It’s important.
The seconds tick by, feeling like hours. He taps his foot anxiously on the floor, eyes glued to his phone. After what feels like forever, his phone buzzes with a reply.

Riyan’s heart races as he quickly types a response

📳I think I got a message from her. A recording of her violin playing our melody. I need to know if you’ve heard anything about her.
Another long pause. The silence feels heavy, weighing down on Riyan’s chest. Finally, another buzz

📳That’s impossible... but I can’t explain everything over text. Meet me tomorrow. There’s something you need to know.
Riyan stares at the message, his mind racing.

His phone buzzes again. Another text from Sofia.

📳"Riyan, you need to prepare yourself. A lot has changed since Aanya left."
Riyan’s breath catches in his throat. His heart pounds faster as he tries to make sense of what Sofia could mean.

He glances around his apartment, the familiar sight of his guitar and scattered music sheets suddenly feeling distant, like they belong to another life. Tomorrow couldn’t come fast enough. The weight of everything unsaid between him and Aanya pressed down on him. He had waited five years for answers. Now, it seemed like he was finally going to get them.
