Seelo (part 3)

Fentret stood perplexed on what these strange creatures were. They looked slightly like him and wore strange clothes made of hard rock. They wielded long blades of hard rock as well. Even the tips of their arrows were made of this hard rock. Never having seen this sort of rock before he commandeered the blades and continued to test its strength against the weapons he had made. He liked the sturdy and strong blades he especially like the one handed arming sword for it allowed for him to have a free hand for climbing or holding other objects. Fentret dragged the unconscious corpse like bodies into his sanctum were he strung them up next to game he salted and stowed for the winter in a dark and cool cave which had many pools of fresh water that during the winter season froze easily. The pools would stay frozen until late spring sometimes even early summer depending on the weather fluctuations. after laboriously hanging the unconscious travelers Fentret simmered some left over stew over the dying coals. Strumming his bogmack and humming keeping a curious glance towards the oddly dressed intruders.

Seelo opens her eyes as the memories from yesterday flood into her mind the vivid images of the strange man swiftly subduing her companions with effortless ease. The tidal wave of emotions racking her brain into a panic she tries to reach for her hunter's knife upon her belt when she realizes her hands and feet are bound tightly with braids of plant fiber. Trying to break her bonds is utterly feeble. Her body conclusively gags as she hacks out any food left in her system. pure fear filled everyounce of her being. thoughts rushed through her head crowding he mind stuffing it full like a clothes trunk. One thought kept coming to the forefront of here mind "what did this monster mean when he spoke to me?"repeating in her brain she couldnt understand why. Hours pass as she calms down and takes in her surroundings. She realizes her younger sister Tairayem is tied on the other side of a particularly large boar silently sobbing weeping the sorrowful tears of regret and hopelessness. Seelo couldnt find the voice to comfort and or converse with her younger sibling. Hesitating she looked down the line of game to see the men were no where to be seen. Seelo started to frantically think of what to do with out any clear answer coming to mind. Worried for her father and brother who she couldnt not see in this cave she started to wonder if this was the end and if this is how she died. A familiar hardy blooming laugh filled the echoing cave. Seelo looked through her tearful eyes to see her smiling father walk out of the bright light which spilled in from the outside. Fentret entered close behind her father and she gritted her teeth trying to break her restraints with all her might unsuccessfully she continued to struggle.

"Darlin' stop struglen let me get ya down frum der..ey" Her father boomed through the food he was chewing. Her father's strange joyful tone and stature made no sense. "Had he gone insane? was he hit in the head too hard while we were unconscious?" Seelo thought. Sven, Seelo's Father grabbed a dagger off his waste and cut the restraints hold her ands up. Seelo shattered to her knees her strong outer demeanour which she once tried so hard to convince everyone was her broke under the strain of the situation and she sat in Sven's loving arms as he comforted his sobbing daughter.

"I know this is confusing but just let it all out and we can fill you in when you are ready too listen but my darling we have all the time you need. you dont need to act strong for now just let me take care of it all. ok?"

Hearing Sven"s soothing love filled words she drifted to sleep crying her way to sleep.
