Chapter 3: Tortus We r Back

Chapter : 3

Hajime raises his right hand in the upward direction, and we see a silver colored ring in ring-finger. The ring has different markings on it and is made of magi-steel. It is one of the finest material in tortus . The ring has a ruby like gem fixed to it .

And we soon see the gem shine a bright red color like the sudden flash of lights of vehicles. And after the flash dies down , a key appears in his hand. The key is golden and too has marking on it . But what's different is that, unlike normal keys, magic can be sensed inside that key.

Hajime bring his hands down , holding the key and channel's his magic energy into the key . Those lines and the markings began to glow as soon as Magic flows through them . And soon , all that energy accumulates at one point , that is at the tip of the key .

And we see small keyhole that is only visible by the lights of the key . This keyhole comes out of nowhere. It must be the effect of artefact that Hajime made. Hajime puts the key inside the door and a click sound is heard.

Suddenly a golden magic circle forms on the ground and a door completely that looks ancient with its wooden framework and a golden knob appears. The wood used in this door is certainly of a high quality .

Hajime reaches for the golden knob and opens the door . The door starts to open with a very slow and cliche sound that is of the doors of horror movies.

Hajime:  '  Kufufu. FINALLY!.. Finaly its time!...

Time for my "Epic Another World Entry"

It took a lot of time than I previously thought.

The materials, the design and the connection link with the key. But looks like my efforts paid off. '

Yue: " Nn___Hajime , Why do you have a weird grin on your face ? "

Hajime: " Yue. My efforts weren't in vain . The time used on this door was truly worth it . As you can see , its time for my " Very Awesome! , another world Epic Entry scene ".

Yue: " Nn. Hajime , You are acting weird . ....Are you okay . Should I call,  Ba-ka\~ori. She Could help you with her healing magic."

( Asks Yue , slightly tilting her head with a worried expression on her face.)

Hajime: ! ! !

Hajime has a shocked expression on his face

as his lover, or the very first wife of Hajime Nagumo who generally doesn't understand certain things in their mundane life is somehow making sense .

Hajime: " Uhm-...N-No . I am Ok. Thanks. "

He says as he turns his face away in embarrassment.

Facing the other way , he glance a little with his eyes for a small peak and notices the his other wives are having the same look and probably the same thought , as if to say

Shia: ' Hajime-san can be childish too\~ desu.'

Shizuku: ' I didn't know about this fetish of yours , Hajime.'

Tio: ' hoho. Goushinji\~sama never fail to amuse me.'

Aiko: ' Hajime sure has good art skills. I will ask furogawa sir to allow him to art class . He may win the inter-school cup in arts, next time. '

Hajime:' Thank you sensei (\~sob). You don't know , how much that means to me.(\~sob). '

Aiko:' Eh ! ? Nagumo\~kun looks like he is about to cry . Are you okay Hajime kun.  !? Don't Cry . Don't Cry . ...I will personally give your recommendation to furogawa Sensei. '

Kaori: ' So, Nagumo likes to makes such things. I wish We can go on vacation more.

But . Just me and Hajime, all alone on an unknown island . With bare clot-..'

Hajime: ' No , its better to stop here. I don't want to know , where those lines are going. Or the clearly visibly grin on Kaori's face .

Yeah ! . .....Its better to not think about it .'

Yue: " Nn . Hajime. Why make this door ? You could have just used the key and it would have still worked . "

( asks a curious Yue)

To be honest, with the key there wasn't any need of door in the first place . And the slow, cliche door opening sound doesn't make any sense either. In-fact , all it did was increase the amount of magic needed for opening the gate .

Hajime: " Yeah.   But this way, it looks more interesting."

Yue : " Wont it take more mana , than normally using just the key. ? "

Hajime:"  Yes . It sure does. But , no problem, since I have more than enough mana . I decided to put use of the large reserve. "

But since Hajime seems to have a large , near endless supply. He thought why not bring his dream of making the special another world entrance come true.

Yue: " I don't understand . But since Hajime likes it, I would go with it. "

His inspiration was the closet scene of Narnia, where Lucy entered the closet and found a hidden door that leads to the world of Narnia.

And he calls this act : A man's romance.

With this he rotates the key and enters through the door . The world inside the door is a kaleidoscope of different colours flashing brightly . Soon the bright flash dies down and we see a magic circle opens in the Balcony of the palace . And a door appears there .

When the Door opens , multiple figures come out of it . Its is none other than Hajime and his troupe .

Stepping out from the door , the first thing that the students see is _________" FIRE"

Hajime: " What the heck ! "

Yes,  FIRE ,  broken Pillars, Smoke rising out of the burning curtains etc.

Shizuku: " What is This ! ? "

This scene was something that utterly shocked them . As in the name of god , they would have never thought that they would witness the palace in such conditions. It is as if A huge calamity has descended on the Kingdom.

They moved their eyes and saw the people rushing. Some knights were lifted the broken pieces of huge pillars that has crashed down on the grounds . And some hands of people are also visible that became victims to the broken pillar .

Seeing the scene, the very first thing that came to their Mind was ________" Liliana "

They all rushed inside , ignoring the blazing fire and the ceilings caught by the fire , that were soon going to fall .

Hajime And Kouki and Kouki nods at each other as if agreeing on something and then Hajime starts shooting with his donner towards the falling pieces and Kouki started slashing those broken pieces.

This was unnecessary for Hajime's group as they were already strong . But they did this so as to save the people that were nearby from the falling walls . Meanwhile Suzu casted a barrier and the group soon came across the hall .

After coming across the hall of the palace. They saw the destruction of the place where one's they were summoned or the time Hajime princess carried Liliana announcing their marriage as official. The very palace that was full of memories of them is now covered with broken pillars , debris and fire .

The throne is also broken. Along all other things .

And most importantly there is no info of the Princess whereabouts.

Knight 1: " Take those people to the nearby Aid houses ."

Knights: "Yes Sir ."

Knights 1: " Take this guy to the Healing mage . He is in critical condition."

Knights: " Yes sir ."

The Knight is wearing a silver armor and tension is clearly visible on his face . But he tries his best to remain calm and take the appropriate decisions as much as possible. He has brown eyes and a brown mustache , that looks like of people of medieval England.

Hajime and the group approaches the Knight who was giving out orders .

"(Sounds of approaching footsteps)"

Shia: " Knight-san ! What happened here ! ? And where is Princess! ? "

Knight: " You ._____ You people belong to the hero's group right !   . Please Help us ! __ They !__They took the princess. " 

( He said while gritting his teeth and clenching his fist. The anger is clearly visible on his face . )

Kaori: " Took the princess ! ? What does that mean .! "

Shizuku: " Calm down Kaori. Knight-san can you at least explain, what happened here . The state of the palace and missing of princess . Please explain in detail . "

Knight: " Yes . 2 weeks ago . The princess was doing the usual paperwork of the matter related to the kingdom. And while she was busy doing the paperwork, we received a letter. We checked the letter from the outside if it had any dangerous thing to it . After the security checkups , the letter was handed to one of those maids that were close to princess .

Although we didn't see the content of the letter , but princess was looking kind of annoyed and irritated by it . And then she tore the letter into pieces. And went back to work .

3 days later , We saw that Prince of Volde kingdom has arrived. It was for discussing an official treaty regarding the backwaters that connect the Heileigh Kingdom with Volde Kingdom . "

Hajime: " Volde Kingdom? "

Knight: " Yes this kingdom is newly formed, not too years ago ".

Hajime: " Strange. I haven't heard about it before."

Knight:" Cause it didn't had that much power like it has now . And also , although it declared themselves as a free state , they were still a part of the Heileigh kingdom. And Heileigh kingdom had direct control over it. "

Knight: " But soon their previous ruler died . And the 2nd son took over the throne. He had the support of most of the nobels and the Council members ."

Knight: " And , Not long ago they declared themselves as Independent and separated their borders from Heileigh kingdom."

Knight: " Princess didn't look much into the matter that time and said :____ If they want to be independent, I have no objections."

Knight: " And then things went back to normal like they were before until the 12th day , When that Thing appeared !  .It was covered in black robe and had Scythe on his one hand . He flew over the palace and then suddenly stopped  mid air , as it was standing on an platform in mid air, that cannot be seen from naked eyes ."

Palace Guard: " Hey look! What is that thing flying above there." ( He said while pointing to a figure clad in black robes )

Palace Guard 2: " Moreover,  What's it doing there ?"

Palace Guard 3: " Hey Mr. , or whoever you are get down from there . Your are

tress-passing the  boundaries of palace ."

Alpha-49v2: ".........."

Palace Guard 4: " No answer __"

Palace Guard 3: " This is the last warning. If you don't get down from there , We will have to resort to using force. So you better listen."

Alpha-49v2: "......."

Palace Guard 3: " Then I will take your silence as an answer ."

Palace Guard 3: " Use bind magic on him . And bring that guy down ."

With this the Guard who had knowledge of using bind magic started to chant spell . And then a small white magic circle appears in mid air . And ropes were shot through the circle and the Robed guy was tied.

Palace Guard 4: " Hahaha . That was easy . I thought he would have at-least shown resistance. "

Palace Guard 3 : " No . Something doesn't fit . This , was way to easy . You don't keep you guard down , this might be a tra-__"

"( SWissH )"

"( Sounds of blade swing)"

The Guard didn't get to finish his sentence, when he heard the sound of a blade swing and the head of the  Palace guard who used bind spell on him fell on the ground.

Palace Guard 3: " Its a trap ! . Raise the alarms.  !  Enemy has breached our defenses. Raise the alarm! . "

Many Guards rushed toward the nearest tower to raise the alarm, while the rest stayed to stop the enemy from further advancement.

Knight: I heard the emergency alarm, and rushed with my knight order to the place as fast as possible.

Knight: Seeing this sudden enemy, that breached and entered the palace boundaries without us knowing , we were shocked . But we soon gained back our composure and readied our defences .

We attacked him with our arrows that had grenade attached to it . 2 arrows , hit the target  and a bright explosion took place . As we were waiting for the dust to settle and the smoke to clear up, we saw two eyes , red in colour looking toward us . "

Knight:  As the smoke got cleared , we saw that thing was not harmed . No . Not even a scratch was visible on its surface .

Knight Order 1: " Impossible. It sustained that attack. That attack could have easily damaged a monster of level 40 with ease.

Knight Order 2: " Can we  really defeat this thing ! ?" ( He asks in a panic tone )

Knight Order 3 : " The better question would be : Can we survive against it ? "( He says as he tightened his grip on the sword and preparing himself to dodge against its next attack.)

Knight: Seeing this , it took us no time to understand that this enemy in-front of is more powerful than we thought . And then we prepared our defences , as it looked like it was preparing an attack and a powerful one to be honest.

Knight: Soon He opened his mouth and we saw the Bright blue energy that was charged and was ready to destroy us and the entire kingdom with it .
