Eric continued to teach from the basic as it was his first class with the students. After some time he noticed a girl (Tara) not paying attention. He decided to ignore for now and continued to teach. But she was not bothered, so he decided to ask her.

Eric : "yes you"....(He pointed) "miss...can you recap what I just said..."

Tara was not noticing. A student poked her arm startling her. She looked at the student and then at Eric.

Eric came closer...." Here....miss?" he called "What's your name?..."

Tara stood straight and said "It's Tara"

Eric nodded "So miss Tara ...can you recap what I explained"

Tara looked down and then looked up. She looked on the board and then started to speak. She explained word to word ....

Eric nodded. "Good....good explanation" he said once she finished ..."but from next time …look at me when I am teaching" he whispered for her to listen.

Tara nodded giving him side eyes.

Eric continued to teach. The bell rang and he left the class.

Once he left, the students started to whisper…mostly about how good Mr. Harper taught the topic.

Tara got out of the class giving a side eye to everyone talking about Mr.Harper.

Tara got to the cafeteria and sat on her table. After two-three minutes her friends Emma and James came and sat down opposite to her. She smiled at them.

As they talked Emma asked

Emma : "...heard your new professor is a hot young man."

James looked at Emma...

Tara let out a mocking laugh.

Tara : "hot…my ass" she said even though she knew he looked handsome and hot...

James : "come on...even I find him hot.."

Tara : "he's...umm I don't know..." she couldn't find the words to bad-mouth him.

James and Emma chuckled.

Tara : "by the way...you know he's the man ...who sat on my seat in the morning...in the café"

Emma : "ooo...so he's the one who ruined my princess' mood..." she said with a sus expression

James chuckled with a knowing look.

James : "seems like enemies to lovers ...first meet"

Tara rolled her eyes.

Tara : shut uppppp

Emma: okay....babe

She said with a smirk.

James: okay…so let's stop talking about him ...and get back to our presentation discussion...

Emma: oh…yeah

And soon they all started to discuss the project they were handed.

After sometime the lunchtime was over, and they got back to their classes.

As Tara was walking back to her next class she bumped into someone…..

She grabbed her forehead ..." Ouch...the fuck your chest is rock or something? " She said without looking at person who she bumped at.

The person was Mr. Harper.

He looked at Tara…"God, it's you...again"

"here...don't you have manners...you shouldn't be cursing .."

Tara looked annoyed but mumbled a little sorry.

Eric looked at her "Listen kid it was you who met me in the café right? I am not gonna scold you right now, but you should not go around with that attitude of yours. Understood?"

Tara gave him a glare but nodded.

Eric: "good...now say sorry"

Tara looked at him "but I just said..." she explained

Eric : "I didn't hear it." he said with a shrug.

Tara looked at him with a 'I am so done' expression.
