CHAPTER-1

I opened the door saw my dad staring at portrait silently in his room.

..........

uhh... not again.. he got distracted again? as expected he is being unwholesome lately...

?????:- "Dad...?" I prod my finger tip on his bare arm, I felt hot on my fingertip out of the blue. he flinched, and turn his gaze to look at mem

Mr. Min:- "Soobin! My child! when did you come here?" I glanced at the portrait thay my dad had been staring at for the long time.

Soobin:- "is it... Mom-?" I looked at dad then I shift my gaze to the picture, it looks like, this picture reminds him of some golden memories as I saw him many times observing this picture time to time, since I get to know that it's mother....no wonder he is missing her, I hate how he is not sharing moments with me.

The picture where 4 people are standing with wonderful and calm smile on there face, 2mens, 2 womens,

showing various classical music instruments orchestral, and piano in background one handsome man

looking like showing his violin to the camera with grin and one lady is holding a mic in her hand.

they are looking so happy and satisfied by everything they have.. and here me, I am still stuck in careers.

Mr. Min:- "Yes,she is pretty, right? you have completely gone on your mother that's why your voice in good just like your mom. " He smiled softly at me, even though I can't resist these emotions appearing on my father's face... he was sad., As I was feeling sorrowful inside me, I suddenly realized that....

Soobin:- "Dad!? is the person who has violin in his hands, is you!?"

My dad burst into laughter as I was completely shocked, seeing how handsome and good looking my father actually was! seriously, I couldn't believe my both mom and dad was brilliant and perfect in everything and here their child is useless, I was deep in thoughts while looking at my father with doe blank eyes, my father replied after his laugh calms.

Mr. Min:- "What huh!? you couldn't recognize your own father?" he finish on a laugh, I let out awkward laugh, scratching my head.

Soobin:- "that's not a case dad..."

I laughed.

"anyway you both were into classical music band? God..."

I gave a amazed look.

"that's so cool! I think i'm gonna start the trend by staning classical music bands~"

Dad chuckled then pat my head with his warm hands without saying anything And it makes me sad how desensitized I’ve become whenever my dad choose to stay silent instead of being open to me.

Soobin:- "I was right! dad you should rest now, I know you have fever! it's late too, you shouldn't wake up for so long."

I looked at the wall clock before spouting my end words, it's 11:03.

Mr. Min:- "Right, you should go to bed too, Soobin.

I was just nodding at his every word while helping him, laying down on bed.

Mr.Min:- "It's your first day of school tomorrow, I heard you took admission in music department?"

I pulled the blanket to cover him up to his chest, I Sighed as I settled on bed beside him, I grab his hand, squeezing it gently.

soobin:- "Did Ms.Yeon did backbiting to you again?" Dad gave off heartily laugh before saying his words to me.

Mr.Min:- I see my little soobin finally become an adult but-"

He smacked my forehead.

Soobin:- "Oww! dad..."

I rubbed my head with tiny frown and pout while looking at my father who has become serious now.

"Dad, I'm not a kid anymore so ask your man's not to bother me, and why they have to say anything about my life? it's not their business, I know some self defending techniques, I know how to protect myself."

I let out all my words in once, because I'm pissed, dad always want there dogs to track everything, like I'm a kid in diapers?

Mr. Min:- "Hmm...I can understand your frustration is not wrong since you're a young blood, but you are my son I know all those years we stay apart and Soo-hyun took care of your but still you are my off spring and as your father I always worried about you, I have right to know if my child is secure."

Soobin:- "But dad I'm not kid anymore.."

Mr.Min:- "yes I know, and if you're uncomfortable with this protection then I have no other choice."

I jumped in joy, and smiled brightly at my father once rushing out of his room.

Soobin:- "Good Night Dad!"

*SLAM!*

He is my dad, HE used to be in classical music band then after marrying her own brandmate, after retirement he took over family business after death of my grandfather then he become busy, he flew to other countries for business reasons, mostly he stays away from us, well...I'm not that close to him because I was only 2 years old that time, after one 1 year...my mom died because of cancer, later on My elder brother starting taking care of me, father still won't showed up, he ask Ms. yeon who is assistant of my dad, to put an eye on us, I know he is a good father but the way he maintain things are not that touching to us, HE always being my idol.

he come back from business trip just 1 months ago, Now we get to know that he has disease, doctor asked him for bed rest also it's been 1 week since he got some time to look around so, it's a good excuse for us to spend more time with us but He still works from home, basically sometimes I peak into his room where, mostly I see him working or starting at portrait...

It was our 3rd conversation, I love talking to him, I hope IN future our bond will become more stronger.

I really want to know about mom, Dad always try to change topic, whenever I ask about mom.

I yawn,

"I am tired now, I'll make sure to ask dad about it tomorrow"

I was walking towards my bedroom, A dark hallway which been lightened up by a dim Yellow-white colored lamp, the moment when I was just 10 steps closer to my room I saw light coming from hyung's room ("Hyung" term has been used to call Elder brother in korea).

His room is 10 steps far from mine. "Light is on... maybe hyung is again pushing himself...tch.."

I mumble while looking towards the flash coming down there to his room.

Soobin:- "Hyung...???" I knocked the door, and was waiting for hyung to respond.

I pushed the door slightly as I tried to peak inside,

"...Hyung? You here? can I come in?" I started getting worried, everything was silent like no human is there, is he sleeping?, but he does't sleep with lights opened. Then..

...Why hyung is not responding?....
