Episode 1: Lei and the Encounter

Im Elliana Rose,my name now is Lei Belligerent,i registered my name in Knighthood examination.

I'm sure I'll pass the qualifications....but....the training will be held soon....anyway....i need to find a part time job before the training starts....it will be held after two months...so.......a maid can be?....mm.....but if i do....what if they recognize me after i became a knight?that would be a problem....mmmm......a butler maybe?*bump*oh,Sorry!!

Lei: Anything is fine....(its incomparable to molded bread we belligerent eat at the Border)

Kyle:i didn't expect that you are obsessed with coffee....

Lei:Of course!!....its my everyday companion....in my homeland this is our everyday meal....though sometimes.....we have milk and other stuff.....

Kyle:hmm.....oh right,i didn't introduce myself yet....Im Kyle Villin....

Lei:Oh...im Lei Belligerent.....nice to meet you.

Kyle: maybe you find me odd because i asked you to be my friend for today.....

Lei:.....you have your reasons....i too would have done that if i need companion.....even for a day...but as i said earlier.... there are people who needs money to survive....if i lavishly spend my money.... what would i feel?....i would feel guilty, of course!

Kyle:You got a point....but my reason is simple.....im just bored....and exhausted....so i need someone to accompany me....

Lei:(his reason is a bit of annoying but.... reasons also have reasons behind.....).....Then,since ill be your friend for today...let me know a little detail about you...

Kyle:... that's the first time someone ask about me.....

Lei:.....im the first one?oh my,what an honor.....its my first time to ask about someone too! You see,in my homeland,no one dares to ask about someone....its equivalent to treason*,but as for me,i can ask them all about their lives....but i don't spare any time about something so wasteful...(cause i know,its worthless.... because later or tomorrow...they will definitely die....)

Kyle:...hmmm.....then.....im just an ordinary 17 years old... I don't have siblings....and....a mother....but I have a father who cares and loves me......

Lei:oh....sorry i can't relate to you much..... I have a Family....even if we're not blood related....we care for each other....so basically.... I have many siblings and many father and mother......though.....its not what kind of relationship you could think of......

Kyle:Hmm.... I understand...... Its like a title without a role......calling them family but not showing love like a real family members.....

Lei:A little....though what you said is true.....ahh...I can't explain it.....

Kyle:Its alright.....

Lei: then......What's your favorite color?

Kyle:Hmm....Black

Lei:Really?Mine too. I love black roses very much....

Kyle: Me too......hmm.... what's your favorite food?

Lei: Hmm....i love Chocolate Cake....Tarts....and Gelato....but what i loved the most is Coffee....

Kyle:For me....i like bitter things.....

Lei:Haha....i get it.... we're completely opposite in taste....i like creamy and bittersweet things.....how about animals?

Kyle:Dogs.....

Lei:Cats.....

Kyle: place?

Lei: Bright places

Kyle: Dark Places...

Lei:.......maybe i should stop asking.... we're completely opposite.....

Kyle:.....but atleast we know we're both fond of black roses

Lei:Its because....when i was Seven,a boy gave me a black rose...it was a distressful time,so when that boy gave me that rose....i acquired courage to face tomorrow....

Kyle:What does he look like?

Lei:.....A Black haired boy with red eyes....

Kyle:oh...?....hmmm......your hair is pretty....

Lei:(that came out of nowhere....)... r-really?.....i have a common brown hair though...

Kyle: it's still pretty....plus your silver eyes......its pretty....*smile*

Lei:O~kay?....(he smiled.....it gives me creeps.....)

Kyle:....you treat your hair poorly.... there's damage on it.....

Lei:....mm....(we will never see each other again so...maybe ill talk about a little?).....you see.....as my name....im a Belligerent.....Lei is my Bestowed name* and my title is Belligerent.... So Lei Belligerent

[AN: Bestowed name- in the Border,these are the names given when you became a Belligerent. Belligerents are higher rank officers in the Border.

AN:Belligerent means people who are forced to fight....they're like rebels but they don't choose their own path. So I can say,they're like heroes under the mask....that's the perfect definition for the Bordernians]

Kyle:Ah-huh...

Lei:....we lived on the Border, fighting non-stop....we have no time caring and treating ourselves.....and my hair proves what i have gone through.....

Kyle: Aren't...... Bordernians hides their information?

Lei: Yup...but because we're a "Only a day Friends" i decided to tell you.....its not that we must hide the fact that we are belligerent and we lived in the Border.....its just......other belligerent are ashamed of being one. Because being a belligerent is like living a hopeless life....

Kyle: What about you? Are you proud being a Belligerent or you hate it?

Lei:Im not one of them.....I'm not ashamed of who I am, it's just that being proud and ashamed are completely different things.....also if shame cross my mind...that would only be for lavishly spending my riches to useless things.....also....its not that I hate the Border or being a Belligerent..... Its just.....living a hopeless life.....what would one feel?

Kyle: You really are an interesting one.....

Lei: Fell in love with me?......you better not!

Kyle:And why?

Lei:........ because if you meddle in my life.... you'll only find nightmares in me......

Kyle:Well.... I don't care...... nightmares are afraid of me.....

Lei:....he....he...he...(is he insane....weird.....)it gives me creeps....... anyway......the sun is starting to set......

Kyle:.....*yawn*.....i should get going.......i need to do my job quickly.......

Lei:.....i found a nice apartment......and a cozy bed.....well this is better than the Border......(thinking about that guy...he seems to be a noble.....acts like it too!......maybe he's a Count?......or Marquis?.... anyway....i earned 20 G easily....i got a chance to eat Chocolate Cake too!........maybe i should be thankful.....)*yawn*.....im sleepy.....
