Leveling Up and Earning Money

Akira had walk so far after she leaves the town.

After a long walk, she finally arrived at a forest "Alright, I can hunt some monsters here".

Akira began to take out the sword from its sheath attached to her left waist.

"Oh my" Akira was surprised when she saw that the sword Gloria's father gave her was a rusty sword. "I'll have to get a new sword soon" Akira started looking around for monsters.

"Ah yes, I forgot to tell you, Akira" Said Uriel telepathicay.

"I have increased your strength, speed and physical endurance far above when you were still alive back in Japan so even though you are still level 1, you will have no trouble killing even the weakest monsters".

"Oh, I leveled up right away!" The brown haired girl was overjoyed.

"Ah, that's right, I can sell the limbs of the monsters I've killed," Akira recalled the adventurer guild receptionist's explanation.

"But..." Akira looked at the corpse of the wolf she just killed "What body parts should i bring to the guild?" She wondered.

"You can see the contents of your pocket using the user interface vision. If you want to take a certain object, just think of the object and take that object from the pocket".

"So it's like the inventory menu in RPG games" Akira tried to look at the contents of her pouch.

"Wow, the number of items I can carry can reach 1000!" Akira was surprised to see the user interface of her pouch "That number can still increase if you change your pouch to a bigger size, like a backpack or rucksack for example" Uriel explained.

"It's a slime core, it can be sold at the guild" Uriel explained "Alright, I'll keep it" Akira put the slime core into her pouch while a number of other slimes started to arrive "Come on!" The brown haired girl slashed her sword again.

After a while, Akira sat resting on the ground while surrounded by slime cores "Killing slimes is easy".

"Alright, time to go back to town and sell all this stuff to the guild" She began to collect the slime cores scattered on the ground and put them into her pouch.

"Grr..." Out of nowhere four wolves began to approach Akira.

"..." Akira become cautious and readied her sword "haah!" Akira immediately ran towards the wolves and attack them.

"awoo!"

After a short battle, Akira managed to kill all four wolves and quickly stuffed their corpses into her pouch.

"Oh" Akira noticed from her status that she had reached level 7 "Not bad for my first monster hunt" She started walking back to the town.

Once Akira is in front of the adventurer guild building, she talk to Uriel telepathically "Uriel, what happens if someone else sees me taking items from this bottomless pouch?"

"I've already arranged it. They won't be suspicious at all" Uriel calmed Akira "Then, let's sell all this stuff" She then enter the guild building.

"Excuse me, I want to sell monster parts" Akira spoke back to the bespectacled guild receptionist who had just helped her.

"You can go to the left door over there" The receptionist showed the way.

Akira immediately entered the place shown by the receptionist.

The room looked like an animal slaughterhouse, there was a man sitting at a table while a number of other men were busy cutting up monster body parts.

"Welcome, we can buy any monster body parts you bring here" The man greeted Akira.

"Guh, this place stinks!" Akira said to herself "I just want to sell wolf corpse" She spoke to the man.

"Certainly. What body parts you brought to us? Legs? Head? Meat? or fur?" Asked the man.

"I brought everything" Akira taking out five wolf corpses from her pouch "Amazing! It's rare for an adventurer to bring a whole monster corpse!" The man was amazed while the people who had been in charge of cutting up the monster's body began to stare at the corpses that Akira had brought.

"For all these wolf corpses, we'll buy an amount of... " The man calculated using an abacus on his desk.

"750 Aurum".

"Wow" The people in charge of cutting up the monster's body were shocked at the amount of money offered by the man.

"I'll accept it" Akira replied.

"Thank you" The man handed Akira a large bag of coins.

"Next is selling slime cores" After leaving the monster slaughter room, Akira immediately entered the room next to her.

The room looked like a jewelery shop, with a woman sitting at a table guarding the place.

"We can buy artifacts and precious materials that you find in dungeon or dropped by monsters" The woman greeted Akira.

"I just want to sell the slime core" Akira took out a blue stone.

"We charge 2 Aurum for one slime core" The woman said.

"Then I want to sell everything i own" Akira took out some slime cores from her pouch.

"The slime cores you sell are 20 pieces. So we will buy them for 40 Aurum." The woman took out a small leather bag filled with coins and giving it to Akira.

"Thank you" Akira accepted the bag "Thank you for doing business with us" Said the woman.

"Now I can buy a new sword and repay the innkeeper oji-san" muttered Akira happily.

"Oh, we have entered a new scenario" Uriel spoke via telepathy "Your new scenario is, you have to buy a slave".

"Eh?" The brown haired girl is confused when she heard Uriel's words.
