Chapter 3
The classroom went silent after the teacher walked in, holding our mock test papers.
He started calling names, handling out papers.

*I was really eager to hear my name.*
Emma
*While waiting, I saw a pen fall to the floor. *
Emma
*I picked it up and handed it to him with a smile.*
*He grabbed it quickly without saying anything.*

*That was rude, you know.*
Emma
*I was staring at him in disbelief*
Emma
*I heard my name called out*
Emma
*I walked up to get my paper*

*I saw, I got 98% marks on my test *

* I was literally doing an internal dance inside my head*

*as I walked back to my seat*
Teacher
"You did really well as a newly transferred student here."
Teacher
"Keep up with the good work"
Emma
*I saw him walking towards his desk, tossing his paper as if it meant nothing*

"How much did you get ?"
Aiden parker
*I was looking at the window, blankly staring at the sky*

*I heard a little whispered, coming from the left side*

* I looked back to see who called me*

"How much did you get?"
Aiden parker
*Oh, she's asking about my marks*
Aiden parker
*I lazily grabbed the mock paper on my hand, and showed her my scores.*

*I can see her eyes open wide as if she couldn't believe I can score this well*

*Before even she continued I slammed my paper under the desk*

*and went back to sleep on my desk*

"How did you do on the test?"

* I tried not to brag*

"Damn that's awesome"

" Help me next time, with my studies too"

"yeah, but guess who got the 100%"

"he just tossed the paper aside"

Across the cafeteria, Aiden's new friends, Jack and Ryan were teasing him

"Also good at photography, swimming, volleyball."

"Did you drink the ace potion secretly that I didn't get"

"Stop guys, it's nothing like that"
Aiden and Emma are in the opposite team as today the class is playing volleyball.
He moved so quickly to the side.

"Seriously, is there anything he can't do"

*We were literally panting, while still on the run*

"Maybe, he is bad at knitting!"

*I was literally about to laugh when I saw the ball coming right in my direction*

*I jumped and sent it back over the net*

* I stand on the ground, shook and also amused*

*I can tell, he was amused, just by looking at his face*

*I felt a little overjoyed at this moment*

*For a second I almost smiled back*

"That was a sweet spike"

"Almost took Aiden down"

*I didn't see him coming*

*I felt a tiniie tiny bit of respect*

*Maybe he wasn't bad at all*

*But, then I remembered his attitude*
