Lena's gaze lingered on the golden-haired man's face, her heart racing with excitement and possessiveness. She leaned in closer, her lips brushing against his ear.
"Stay here," she whispered, her breath sending shivers down his spine. "I'll be back."
The golden-haired man nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. Lena got up from the bed, her movements graceful and deliberate. She walked to the door, her back straight and confident.
As she reached the door, she turned back to him. "Don't move," she commanded, her voice firm.
The golden-haired man nodded again, his eyes burning with anticipation. Lena smiled, a sly and seductive smile, before turning and leaving the room.
The golden-haired man was left alone, his heart racing with excitement and his body trembling with desire. He knew he was in for a wild ride.
Lena walked briskly, her heart still racing from her daring escape. She had outsmarted the villain and his minions, and made off with a few valuable gemstones. But her mind kept drifting back to the golden-haired man, the "dog" she had been sent to tame. She wondered what would become of him now that she had left the lair.
Lena walked for hours, her feet carrying her through the winding streets and alleys of the city. She didn't encounter anyone suspicious, and her mind began to wander. She thought about the golden-haired man, and the villain's lair, and the mysterious letter that had started it all.
As the sun began to set, Lena spotted an inn in the distance. She made her way towards it, her body aching for rest. She pushed open the door, and was greeted by the warm glow of firelight and the murmur of conversation.
Lena took a room for the night, and collapsed onto the bed, exhausted. She slept soundly, her dreams filled with images of the golden-haired man and the villain's lair.
The next morning, Lena woke feeling refreshed and renewed. She went downstairs to the common room, where she ordered a hearty breakfast and asked the innkeeper about local tailors. She needed new clothes, something that would help her blend in with the crowd.
The innkeeper recommended a nearby seamstress, and Lena set off towards the shop. She spent the morning trying on dresses and cloaks, finally settling on a simple but elegant outfit that made her feel like a new person.
With her new clothes and a spring in her step, Lena left the inn and continued on her journey. She had no particular destination in mind, but she knew she needed to keep moving. The villain would not take kindly to her theft, and she had a feeling that he would stop at nothing to get his revenge.
The golden-haired man knelt patiently on the bed fiddling with his fingers, his eyes fixed on the floor. He was waiting for his mate's return, his mind calm and submissive. But then, he caught a whiff of something that made his heart skip a beat. It was a scent he knew, one that didn't belong in this place.
Blood.
His head jerked up, his nostrils flaring as he tried to pinpoint the source of the smell. It wasn't his master's scent, nor was it the scent of his mate, the one he had been conditioned to obey. This was something different, something primal.
