Lyra put her hand in the orb, as she waited for something to happen.
The orb didn't glow, nor was their a change of appearance.

Is this thing defected??

You are being assigned to the CONSTELLATION PHEONIX NOCTIS...

Please proceed to leave through the door on your right.

But she couldn't complete her sentence.
The teacher flicked her hand, and Lyra found herself voiceless.
She shouted at the teacher, but no sound came out her throat.

Now if you have calmed down, Miss Nova, you can head to your dorm, and meet with the others.
Lyra tried saying something again, but couldn't.
Helpless, she left the room.
The moment she left the room, she found her voice back.
