The Murder

Rahi was upset. Because of her power her brother was grounded. He couldn't go out of the house. Rahi was standing in front of a banana tree. There, two butterflies were playing with each other. Rahi was trying to catch them with a basket. That Little girl appeared beside her and cause of her sudden appearance Rahi was startled.

"Why are you here?", Rahi asked her.

"You should go to your granny's room.", that Little girl said hesitantly.

Rahi looked at the girl who was around her age. The girl was wearing a yellowish floral frock. Suddenly Rahi remembered something and her eyes widened. Without realising Rahi shouted, "I have seen this dress in grandma's almirah. Who are you? What is your name? Why are you dead now?" Rahi shouted those questions together.

That girl looked at her and said, "Rahi I will tell you everything. But for now you should go and check your grandmother. She is in danger."

"Grandma" and "danger" after hearing these two words Rahi turned around and started to run without asking anything else. For Rahi her grandmother was her first mother. After Rahi's birth, her grandmother raised her like her own daughter. She fed her, told her stories, played with her, whenever Rahi was ill she could never sleep a blink at night. She was like the whole world for Rahi. But after hearing that her grandmother was in danger Rahi felt like she could not bear this world.

Rahi was panting when she reached the room. She opened the door hurriedly as her grandmother never locked their room. She saw her big brother Rahul standing near her grandmother's bed. She shouted out of an unknown fear.

Everyone came running after hearing her shouting. They all stopped at the doorstep. Rahul fainted after hearing all the noise.

Rahi's father ran towards the bed and checked on his mother. He realised that he came late. After shouting for once Rahi stopped. She was standing still.

What is happening? It was like Rahi's been thrown into a black pit. She can't hear or see anything at all. She collapsed.

"Rahi wake up. We are here. We have to get off the bus now." Rahi opened her eyes and saw Mimi was calling her. She rubbed her eyes with her left hand and stood properly. When she was about to get off the bus she bumped into a tall man. He looked familiar. But Rahi couldn't remember him at all.

Rahi is now a beautiful 19 year old lady. She is now learning art in a college. Everyday she came to the college with her only friend Mrinmoy. Rahi calls her 'Mimi'. Rahi was a bit clumsy in other's eyes but Mimi knew that Rahi was actually a very unique girl. So when others were giving her a hard time for her clumsiness then Mimi spread her hands towards Rahi.

Now they are a 2nd year student of art. But still she can see those people whom others can't see. And Mimi is the only person other than her Grandma who knows about this secret.
