The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow through the windows of the Grey mansion’s dining room. Eleanor sat at the head of the table, her expression a mixture of concern and determination. The atmosphere was heavy as her eight children gathered around, the silence palpable.
“Alright, everyone. What did we find today?” Eleanor prompted, her tone firm but expectant.
Alicia sighed, glancing at her siblings. “We reviewed our recent dealings, but there’s nothing that stands out. No obvious enemies or threats.”
Catherine nodded in agreement. “We checked the security footage, but it was all too clean. No signs of tampering or unusual activity leading up to the attack.”
Natalie leaned forward, frustration evident on her face. “It’s like they just… appeared out of nowhere. It doesn’t make sense.”
Laura crossed her arms, glancing at Danielle and Rachel. “I feel like we’re missing something crucial. There has to be a lead we overlooked.”
Just then, the door swung open, and Alexander entered, his presence commanding. The tension in the room shifted as all eyes turned to him.
“Did I miss the party?” he asked, a hint of sarcasm in his voice, but his expression quickly turned serious.
Eleanor’s gaze sharpened. “Alexander, what’s going on? We’ve just been discussing the lack of leads.”
Alexander stepped forward, his demeanor shifting to one of urgency. “I have something. The attackers didn’t say much, but one of them mentioned a man who ordered them.”
“What did he say?” Alicia asked, leaning in, her heart racing.
“He described the man wearing a necklace with a black bull on it,” Alexander replied, his tone grave. “That’s all they revealed before we took them down.”
A heavy silence enveloped the room as the significance of his words settled in.
“A black bull?” Eleanor echoed, furrowing her brow. “That sounds familiar. I think I’ve seen that symbol."
“Where?” Natalie asked, her curiosity piqued.
"I can't remember," Eleanor said, forcing herself to remember.
"Its okay mom, we'll find him sooner or later." Alexander replied, taking a sip of his black coffee.

Three weeks later, the moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the winding mountain road. The air was thick with tension as Alexander gripped the steering wheel of his car, the engine humming steadily beneath him. He glanced at the clock—12:15 AM. It was supposed to be a quiet drive home.
Suddenly, the tranquility shattered as three SUVs emerged from the darkness, their headlights slicing through the night like searchlights. They flanked him, aggressive and menacing, like wolves closing in on their prey.
“Not tonight!” Alexander muttered, heart racing as he realized their intentions. He glanced in the rearview mirror, spotting the driver in the lead SUV—an imposing figure behind dark sunglasses, eyes cold and calculating.
“Get him!” a voice crackled over the radio, urgency laced in every syllable. The SUVs surged forward, closing in tighter.
With adrenaline coursing through his veins, Alexander slammed on the gas. “You want a fight? Let’s go!” he shouted, swerving sharply and ramming the nearest SUV with a loud crash. Metal clanged violently as the impact reverberated through his car.
“Push him off the road!” another voice barked, filled with savage thrill.
The lead SUV retaliated, colliding with him hard enough to make his car spin. Alexander gripped the wheel tighter, trying to regain control. “Get off me!” he yelled, desperation rising.
But they were relentless. The second SUV slammed into his passenger side, sending a jolt of pain through his arm. “You’re not getting away!” the driver taunted, laughter laced with malice.
Panic surged as he realized he was being pushed toward the cliff’s edge. “I won’t go down without a fight!” Alexander shouted, revving the engine and swerving toward the lead SUV again, landing another blow. But it felt like hitting a brick wall.
“Finish him!” came the command over the radio, and the three SUVs closed in, trapping him against the rocky edge.
With one last desperate push, Alexander hit the gas, his heart pounding like a war drum. But the weight of the SUVs was too much. They rammed into him from all sides, forcing his car closer to the precipice.
“NO!” he roared, eyes wide with fear as the ground beneath him began to crumble. In that instant, he felt his car teetering over the cliff, the tires losing grip on the crumbling asphalt.
Then, with a final, shuddering push, the SUVs sent his car careening off the cliff. The world flipped upside down as he plummeted toward the churning sea below. Time slowed; he could see the waves crashing violently against the rocks.
“Hold on!” he shouted to no one, adrenaline drowning out reason as the car descended.
With a deafening splash, the car hit the water, sinking into the depths. Cold engulfed him instantly, panic setting in as he fumbled for the door. Everything around him turned dark and murky.
And then, darkness enveloped him, leaving only silence in its wake.
