     " why will you bring a dead person into our home?! " Thomas asked annoyed to see a dead looking girl on his brother's bed.

" she's not dead Tom, she is just unconscious " Arnold explained.

" then why have you brought her here? " Thomas asked not quite satisfied with his brother's answer.

" she fell unconscious while I was feeding on her, and I haven't compelled her yet so she knows who I am, what I am and what I did to her " Arnold calming explain to his annoyed brother.

    Thomas sighed. " so what do you plan on doing to her when she wakes up? " he asked and seemed to have calmed down.

" I'll compel her and take her back " Arnold said and there was a long silence from Tom.

" you shouldn't have done it, instead I would have got you some myself " Thomas said taking a few steps towards the girl lying on the bed.

" now I have to clean up your mess " Thomas said.

" I can clean up my own mess " Arnold said slightly annoyed. Thomas let something like a sarcastic chuckle at what his brother just said.

            " I couldn't control it, the craving was much, and I was far from home " Arnold finally answered his brother's question.

" a least the situation is better this time " Arnold said reasonably and Thomas seems to doubt that fact.

" what makes you think so? " Thomas asked.

" I didn't kill her " Arnold said and fell lazily on a armchair. Thomas knew the habit of falling lazily on a chair was his brother's way of saying ' am getting sick of this discussion ' but just ignored it.

" but you kidnapped her " Thomas made his point and walked out of his brother's room.

               Arnold got up and walked to the bed and sat beside the half dead blonde girl. Her skin pale and around her long dolly lashed eyes were dark circles. Her hair was messed up and scattered all over the pillow. Arnold thought she still looked pretty even while looking as she is.

" Katherine Forbs " Arnold whispered her name underneath his breath.

" how come you still look so pretty? " Arnold said talking to the unconscious girl.

                Katherine and Arnold never really interacted with each other. Only exchanges of ' Hi's ' whenever they meet, words passed to him from Chloe, awkward smiles to his charming smiles. To be sincere, Arnold actually kinda likes Katherine Forbs, she was probably the first girl he has a crush on or maybe he was just interested in using her. Arnold isn't really sure about his feeling for Katherine. Too bad he had met Chloe Michaelson before meeting her. Unlike other girls in school, Katherine never cared to flirt with him and she was even be suspicious of him. She was always so calm and reserve but when she has to she can be scary. Arnold already witnessed that side of her, but it was once in a lifetime.

            Chloe on the other hand, was too much of a talkative. Never shutting up, trying everything to make him laugh. Arnold knew compelling Chloe was the only to keep his secret from her big mouth and make it seem like he having a normal life. She would do whatever he tells her to without a question. Arnold knows it makes him feel like a jerk to do such a thing to her, though she was frustrating sometimes but was still sweet, but it was part of his nature to be a jerk and he hated that part about him.

            Arnold gently tugged her hair behind her ear. He has been staring at her for while and he couldn't himself. He needed some fresh air and he was afraid something in him might make him jump on her. Her clothes was covered with her own blood. He thought about helping her change but she wouldn't like it and it would be more offending after what he had done earlier and he couldn't call a maid because he wants her to be hidden so he left her like that. He hits the shower got dressed and quietly left the room then locked the door behind him.

        " girls? what are you doing here, aren't you suppose to at the party at school, and where is Katie? " Mr Forbs asked walking steadily towards the girls in his night robe. He moved closer to them to see the worry on their face and couldn't help but feel worry to.

" ehn...., Mr Forbs...., we were wondering where Katherine is, we have been looking all over for her" Jennifer spoke worriedly.

" what happened to her?, I thought she was with you girls? " Mr Forbs said and his voice panicked.

" yes, she was, but later she went out to get her phone in her car and now we can't find her anywhere " Chloe said in one breath.

" and we've been trying to get though to her but she didn't pick up at first and now it's switched off " Jennifer explained.

" are.... are you sure she didn't tell you where she was going? " Mr Forbs asked because he knew it was not like his daughter to go out without informing anyone.

           " Alfred!, Alfred!! " Alex Forbs impatiently called out his butler.

" yes master Alex " Alfred answered in his cool butler tone.

" Get my car ready, I need to find my daughter " Alex said and the butler immediately left to carry out his orders. Alex picked up his jacket and ran out with the girls. The autumn wind was cold but not as cold as how Alex's heart was freezing. Alex was scared already but he was trying to calm himself, but it's not that easy when you don't know the state of one of the dearest person in your life. Alex quickly contacted the police, not wanting to take any risk that might affect the life of his daughter.

           He headed straight to the school to make sure when she comes back, she'll meet him there and also waited for the police to arrive. He told Alfred to be on alret just in case she goes back home. Alex impatiently walked up and down as the police made their investigation. He knows he will never be the same if anything happens to his daughter and things might get ugly quickly unless she was found.

" find my daughter, it's her freaking birthday today!!!! " Alex yelled at the detective.
