10:00 PM

I scribble on my sketchbook thinking what scene I should create next,A random thought went through my head all of a sudden,Viviana Christine Maxwell they could've named me better... If I have a child one day I'll go all-out to give them a unique and fancy name the universe never heard of. A knock appears on the side of my bedroom door. "Who's there?" I say slightly yelling,"It's your mom honey" Oh. I stand up and walked to the door. I turn the knob, And look at my mom. "Yes,Mom?" I say gently. "Honey... Come downstairs we have something to discuss with you..." her voice sounds a little worried. "Uhm okay sure." We both go downstairs in the living room where my dad was already sitting. Elizabeth Maxwell and Gregory Maxwell are my parents. We are of fortune because of my dad's company and with my mom helping him. Although we looked like a perfect family it's the opposite. Behind the curtains they were always arguing thinking I wouldn't know. But honestly i don't know what they were arguing about lately. "Viviana." He says with a serious tone. "Yes dad?" I sit on the sofa on the opposite side,While my mom sat beside my dad. "What is it that you wish to tell me?" "Vivi dear..." My mom says. "Your 25 now..." "And" I say confused why she's suddenly mentioning my age. "Let's get straight to the point. Our company's been getting bad lately. We are almost going broke. You are our only child so..." My dad says looking a bit worried. "So?" I arch an eyebrow. "We signed a deal with the Howard family to get you married with his son, Dante Leo Howard. He'll help us get back up on our feet if you marry his son so... We signed the contract to having an arranged marriage for you and his son." "What!?" I yell. Dante used to be my childhood enemy. We were academic rivals and everything. We always tried to compete with eachother to see who's better than us. And I hated his shitty attitude and for him being an arrogant human being in this world. "What!? Mom! Dad...! You know I dislike him!!! I hate his guts and everything about him! Now I'm marrying him!?" I shout at them pissed. "Honey we are sorry but you have to. Or else we'll be sleeping on the streets. Please satisfy his son's needs. The marriage is the day after tomorrow. I don't know why it's so early but they have their reasons. Please just stay strong and accept it, Okay...?" "Satisfy his son's needs!? What is he! Is he a goddamn child!? A 4 year old who can't write with his own fingers!?" "Viviana! This is for a better future for us." My dad yells. I stand up and say "I am an independent woman who doesn't need no man! I don't like him!!!I hate him forever! I wish he dies in his sleep!" "Viviana,You have no choice but to accept it!!!" I run to my room angry. Why would they let me marry that jerk!? Now that I think about it... I haven't seen him since I was like 13 and he was 15 at that time... So he's 27 now? I bet he's getting uglier day by day. Let's just forget about all of this and go to sleep... I turn off my lights and dive into my bed, After 5 minutes I doze off to sleep.
