Author, I hope you don't mind what I am about to say. But I feel like this story is entirely one sided. We see the female lead's pov for the past life frequently but we know very little about Daniel's pov for the past life.
Moreover, I don't believe that the female lead even wanted to treat Daniel's psychotic behaviour. She gathered evidence against him like she was going to send him to prison. Additionally, she knows he is obsessed with her and she keeps aggravating his behaviour by taking stupid steps. She doesn't trust him.
Moreover, Daniel was a military commander for so long. He must have saved countless lives but now he is a renowned psychopath because of Sapphire and her brother.
On the other hand, people forget that Sapphire is no less than Daniel. She murdered her sister, Iris, and manipulated Nelly's circumstances during a military mission. Moreover, she burnt down the mansion in her last life. I think Sapphire is more sick than Daniel ever was. 🤔
Sorry, I just needed to get this off my chest. Sapphire is responsible for destroying her own life.

But we want a nice ending only, author, if it is a bad ending then it should have ended in season 1 itself. Obviously we expect a better ending in season 2, as in season 1 there is no progress for this psychopath character Daniel and also Sapphire too. She doesn't make any good decisions in season 1 and now too also all she does is repeat the same mistakes of escaping from him. There is no progress in her character too, she just forgives him in the end or confronts him in a stupid way which triggers him. I thought at least she will become clever enough and play mind games with him waiting for her chance to strike him or change him, but no, every time only Daniel wins and not the Sapphire.
So, I hope you will give character development and story progress to both FL and ML and happy ending, author.
