Episode 3

As they both ponder their growing feelings, the universe seems to conspire in their favor. The next day, as Eunji walks to class, she notices a familiar figure waiting by the entrance. Her heart skips a beat as she realizes it's Ji-Woo, looking nervous but determined.

Ji-Woo: taking a deep breath and stepping forward "Eunji, hey. I was wondering if you'd like to grab a coffee with me sometime. I really enjoyed our talk yesterday, and I'd love to continue it."

Eunji: smiling brightly, her heart swelling with hope "I'd like that a lot, Ji-Woo. How about after class today?"

Ji-Woo: relieved and excited "It's a date then."

As they part ways for now, both feel a sense of exhilaration and anticipation. Their journey is just beginning, and with each step they take, the path becomes clearer, leading them towards an unknown future filled with promise and possibility.

The rest of the day passed in a blur for both Eunji and Ji-Woo. Classes, usually filled with the monotony of lectures and notes, seemed to buzz with a new energy. Eunji found herself glancing at the clock more often, her mind drifting back to the upcoming coffee date. Ji-Woo, on the other hand, could barely concentrate, his thoughts constantly returning to Eunji’s bright smile and the promise of their meeting.

When the final bell rang, Eunji hurriedly packed her things and made her way to the campus coffee shop. She spotted him through the window, already seated at a cozy corner table, nervously tapping his fingers on the table.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed the door open, the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloping her. Ji-Woo looked up as she approached, his face lighting up with a genuine smile that put her at ease.

Ji-Woo: standing up and pulling out a chair for her "Hey, Eunji. You look lovely today."

Eunji: blushing slightly as she sat down "Thank you, Ji-Woo. You didn't have to wait long, did you?"

Ji-Woo: shaking his head "Not at all. I'm just glad you could make it."

They ordered their drinks, the conversation flowing easily as they waited. They talked about their classes, their favorite books, and their hobbies, discovering more common interests and shared experiences. With each passing minute, the initial nervousness melted away, replaced by a growing sense of comfort and connection.

Eunji: sipping her coffee "It's funny how we've seen each other around campus so much but never really talked until now."

Ji-Woo: nodding in agreement "I know. I guess sometimes it takes a little push from fate."

Their laughter filled the air, drawing a few curious glances from other patrons. They didn't notice, too engrossed in their conversation to care about the world around them. Hours seemed to slip by unnoticed, the daylight outside gradually fading into the soft glow of evening.

Ji-Woo: leaning back in his chair "You know, I'm really glad we did this. I feel like I've known you forever."

Eunji: smiling warmly "I feel the same way, Ji-Woo. It's like we've just been waiting for the right moment to finally connect."

As the coffee shop started to close, they reluctantly gathered their things, neither wanting the evening to end. They stepped out into the cool night air, the sky clear and dotted with stars.

Ji-Woo: walking beside her "Do you want me to walk you home?"

Eunji: nodding appreciatively "I'd like that."

They walked in comfortable silence, their footsteps echoing softly on the quiet streets. As they reached Eunji's apartment building, they paused, both reluctant to say goodbye.

Eunji: turning to face him "Thank you for today, Ji-Woo. I had a really great time."

Ji-Woo: smiling "So did I, Eunji. Maybe we can do this again sometime?"

Eunji: her eyes sparkling with hope "I'd love that."

With a final shared smile, they parted ways, each feeling a sense of excitement for what lay ahead. As they settled into their respective homes, they couldn't help but replay the day's events in their minds, already looking forward to their next encounter.

For Eunji and Ji-Woo, this was just the beginning. Their paths, once parallel, had finally converged, leading them into a future filled with potential and promise.
