The boy was properly no older than 5 or 6 years old and had black hair, he also had deep black midnight eyes that looked at him with fear, the boy had gasses, burn marks and stab wounds all over the body and was black and blue. In the boy's arms was a little animal that looked like a tiger cub but had blue stripes. The man looked back at the villagers, and he looked at them as if they all were stupid which they were because the monster as they called it was a magical tiger that, if you were to train it. It could help in combat. And now that he thought about it, why would they attack it, if they are scared of it? Why not let the people with the actual skill take care of it?

The man decided to ask that question “If you think it’s a monster then why attack it, why not let the people with actual skill take care of it?”

The mob was silence for a few seconds before one of them answered “They don’t believe us, they think that we are lying, so we decided to take things into our own hands”

“Well that’s the stupidest thing you could do, what would happen if it decides to fight back? The man asks them.

The mob looks at each other and felt stupid, but then one of them said something stupider “Well that’s why we need to killed while it’s still weak and vulnerable”

Everyone in the mob seemed to agree with the person that said that, and they were about to walk over and start the torture again but stop and looked at the man in confusion when he raised a hand. The man looked at the boy, and he crouched down to him, he also lowered his hand again. The boy still looked at the man with fear, and his heart was still beating fast. The man was silent before he began to speak “what is your name little one and what's your friends name? My name is Kaida, Kaida Usagi”

The boy looked in Kaidas eyes to try and see if he could find any hidden intent but when he couldn’t find anything, he answered “ M-my name is Dakota O-Osina and my friends name is Kazemizu”

The man stared at the boy, did he say Osina, so asked “ So you are Marki Osinas child and if you are then what are you doing here, shouldn’t you be with her or Floyd?”

Dakota looked at Kaida and started tearing up “M- my mother and father ignore me, they don’t even n-notice me, they give my younger sisters all the a- attention, they don’t even spare m-me a glance but now I have Kazemizu ”

Kaida was shocked. He had not expected this, for he knew Marki, she always talked about how family was important for her. Then there was Floyd, he didn't know him all that well but he seemed like a good man.

but to learn all this about two people he trusted was mortifying.
