Ep: 2- Different place

Chatter, chatter...

" Wake up! Open your eyes." Someone shouted in low.

"Ugh..."

" Seems like she's awake..." a boy whispered.

The girl slowly open her eyes, squinting them to adjust her vision. She tilted and twisted her head a little as her neck pained.

She tried moving and realized her arms and legs were tied in rope. She straightened up and wide awake.

Looking around she found her classmates in the same situation as her. And the place they were in was a tent.

Seeing the candles and lamps lighten up, they understood it's already evening.

" Are you alright?" another girl who helped her drag, asked the girl who just woke up.

Alright my grandma. In a situation like this, how can you ask me that?

The girl's internal asked and there's no way she'll upset her cute friend, who's worried about her, by such question.

She nodded to assure the other girl.

But the fear and anxiety inside each of them was not right at all.

Some footsteps were heard, alerting the classmates. Their heads turned towards the tent's entrance.

A big buffy, not-so-old, must be in his 40s since he has wrinkles in his face. However, a fit-healthy man stood in front of them like a tower.

A scar on his face around the left cheek and jawline, made him looked quite cool.

He's quite handsome tho also…huge…?

That's all the classmates could think with a gulp in their throats, out of fear. He strangely has sharp features and a ferocious aura around him.

Some of the other people similar to those who attacked them before, followed the huge man, silently and stood in line behind him.

He seemed stiff and strict.

The classmates thought of him as someone cold or furious but when the huge man cleared his throat before speaking : "Ehem-em."

He said with short pause: "...Right now, the situation must seems harsh to you but I would like to ask you youngers to cooperate with us for a while."

The way he's trying to speak so calmly, with deep firm voice of his... which was unexpected, surprised the classmates.

At this rate, we will be falling for this mister…it would suit him better if he speaks a bit furiously…gulp…

Meanwhile, the people came with the man seemed to be relieved for some reason.

One of the another girl in the group, shyly yet hesitantly spoke up: "Uhmm... If you want us to co-operate with you, t-then why did you tie us like this?"

The rest of classmates silently agreed with the girl as they slowly nodded in sync.

At that, the huge man frowned. After a short silence he sighed before speaking.

" Well... If it was not for the commotion before, we could have talked normally."

He referred to the chaos from before. Them, running and chasing like a game of mouse and cat. The commotion of getting beaten by some young lads was somewhat unexpected for the people as well.

" Our group were commanded to take you here without any commotion. However, before we were to explain things, seems like our group unintentionally frightened you. It was also not that we actually attack you."

That made the classmate realized that it was true that the uniformed people were actually trying to say something but the classmate were so frightened that all they wanted, is to run away.

Also, the fact that they didn't actually attacked them and never use their weapons either. The classmate slowly nod to the huge man, the people behind were once again relieved that the misunderstanding sorted out.

" Now, if you promise to cooperate with us, we’ll free you. However, if you try something funny—"

" Chief!... "

The huge man seemed to turning ferocious while talking but got taken back to his sense by one of the person standing behind him, interrupted and said something as if reminding him in a inferior manner.

" … Please…remember the orders..."

The huge man humph out a sigh and got back to normal. He then glanced at the classmates and said:

" I'm really trying to be nice, if you will quietly co-operate."

The classmates quick nodded in fear; who knows what will he do if he won't be nice.

All the classmates were untied. The people gave them chair to sat on for the real talk.

The huge man stood there and watched them as they all obediently sat down.

He ordered one of the person: "…Get them some water to drink."

He must have seen how much the classmates looked drained out. Indeed, after all the running.

As per the order, the person brought some water for them.

The classmates were relieved that they were at least taking that much care for them. They drank a lot of water than expected as if they haven't drank it for a while.

The classmates thanked them for the care.

After letting them relax, the huge man came a little near them and asked: " Are you all now alright to answer our questions?"

The classmates glanced at each other one by one and nodded their heads to the huge man.

He started interrogating: "Good. Then… what were you doing in this forest?"

One of the boy replied in behalf of the classmates:" ….Uhm… All we remember is that we were here for a camping trip along with our friends and now we are lost."

The huge man's eyebrows twitched as he found it ridiculous.

"Camping trip? In a forest like this?... Hah." He scoffed questionably.

The classmates were dumbfounded.

The boy from before who fought added "We were told this forest has safety measures and there were two guides with us too… Even though there were some things strange about this forest … and the lake..."

The boy paused meanwhile the girl who spoke up before said as if she got it what was wrong:

"The lake! Y-yes! Everything was alright 'til we arrived at that weird la….. At the middle of the forest… Right! From there on our other friends were missing, and we were lost ever since then…as if everything changed."

Changed…??

The people behind the huge man whispered in confusion.

"Seems like you youngers were fooled..."

Bewildering the classmates, the huge man continued: "Right now, this forest have a dangerous issue. No one is allowed to enter this forest until the issue resolve."

The classmates were shocked to heard that, the anxiety raised in them.

Looking at how much the classmates were panicking, the huge man asked: "... Well, you don't look like people living here or nearby. Where did you come from?"

"S-Seoul..."

The huge man questionably tilted his head and asked one the people behind him.

"Se…owl…? Do we have ever heard of such name or place before?"

One of the person replied with a pause as if wondering: "… It… doesn’t look like we have."

The huge man frowned and looked at the classmates.

The classmates themselves looked confuse, making the huge man doubt if they were actually lying or not.

"E-Excuse me..."

All heads turned towards the low voice coming from the girl, who was unconscious before.

They all questionably looked at her as she continued:

" If you don't mind, can I ask some things?...Uhmm just some random... to be aware... Conformation!"

There was a short silence before the huge man replied with a nod: "… Alright. Go ahead."

The girl asked in a hesitated manner, worried if it was what she was thinking:

"Uhm… Are you all …perhaps Knights or something like that?"

The huge man and the people behind nodded with a bit of confusion.

" Yes, we are. We are the Wistarian knights."

Wistarian…what?

The rest of the classmates were dumbfounded meanwhile the girl was somewhat surprised.

Watching the two different reactions from them, the mentioned Wistarian knights were getting deep into the confusion.

The cute girl beside was worried about the friend of her, she worriedly asked the girl: " H-hey, W-what's wrong?..."

But the girl avoided answering her.

She bewildered a bit and asked the knights: "T-Then.. W-what date is today?!"

One of the people replied: "xxx in the…imperial calendar."

A storm took over inside her, sound of thunderstorms filled her ears, darkness blocked her vision and her head spined around.

She again fell unconscious in shock of the realization that they are in ancient times or something.
